Punched Bear card
Posted on: Thursday, May 21st, 2009
Well I am quite happy with how my little bears turned out, but now that I look at it, I think I should have shifted the scallop circle up and to the right a bit. It actually is centered but the lower bear is bigger and takes more space. Oh well, twenty-twenty hindsight! Well I made the bears using all Stampin’Up punches, sadly to explain the exact instructions, I would have to use a ton of pictures, way more then would work for posting. The bear’s eyes and sandwich were hand drawn and added in. The little paws and lashes were drawn directly on to the bear with Chocolate Chip marker. Chalk was used to add blush the cheeks and the body parts were shaded with Creamy caramel and Close to Cocoa before assembling. I used Rose Red and Pumkin Pie to color the flowers from the pretties kit as well as for the center scallop circle. The leaves from the Sizzlet were sponged with Garden Green. The eyes were colored in with Black and Rust marker. White gel pen was used for highlighting and the ribbon is black gingham ribbon. Bear is popped up on dimensionals as is the sandwich and hand. Next post I do will be featuring a miniture tutorial for a really neat flower accent

I am just loving your pictures of Disneyland. I lived about 45 minutes from there in CA till we moved to MO about 4 years ago. Your pictures reminded me of what it was really like going there. Thanks for sharing the fun.
