We also always hang out huge Moravian star in the big oak tree outside. I love your Advent Tree. I wrote their name and year on the box. Although they are grown, every year I decorate, I take time to remember each purchase. What a brilliant idea. I have already made three advent calendars this year, and have lost heart to make any more -- but I'll be looking really hard at this one next year. Instead of outside decorations we light several (okay more than several) menorahs and enjoy the holidays with food & singing while we watch the sparkle and glimmer of the candle lights.
