I really like the tri-shuttered album the best. I couldn’t really say why exactly, but it speaks to me. I always enjoy all of your tutorials. You make it seem so easy. Of course, I would be honored to win any of them. Sure hope I win!!!

Stitched Stockings Class, A Blog Give-Away & A Coupon

Posted: Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 | Comments (234)

For this month’s class we’re continuing on with our Christmas theme.  We’ve designed a class using Stampin’ Up!’s new Stitched Stockings stamp set, their Stocking Builder punch, their cherry cobbler baker’s twine and the ultra-adorable mini jingle bells.  What a yummy combination!  As part of this tutorial you’ll create four 3″ x 6″ cards (all of the same design), 4 tags (each a different design) and a cute stocking-shaped portfolio to hold them in!

As I do each month, I am offering two versions – a Stamp Class by Email version which is a step-by-step photo tutorial with over 80 full color photos, full supply list, a cutting guide and template for the box.

The Class Planner version for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators includes the Stamp Class by Email tutorial (called the Class to Go Handout) as well as all the additional materials you need to offer it as a class to your own customers. New this month – we’ve changed the format of the customer handout. We’ve created a separate pdf handout for EACH of the projects – that way you can pick and choose which ones you want to offer as part of a class, or maybe as a Make and Take for a workshop or open house.

Don’t have the time or space to offer traditional classes? Why not offer it as a kit to go?  OR, did you know that you can use the Class to Go Handout as a purchasing incentive to your customers?  When they place a $50 or more order of Stampin’ Up! product from YOU, you can give them this fabulous tutorial for free?  But wait….there’s more….

As part of either the Stamp Class by Email AND the Class Planner you receive access to a private web page – and this month we have a video showing you how to make the card shawl.   When you order the Class Planner version, you also receive the video embed code so that you can embed the video on your own blog and offer it as a bonus to your customers which took the class or received the tutorial as a gift with purchase?

There are so many different ways that demonstrators use my planners, yet regardless of which way they choose to use it, the one thing I hear over and over again is what a benefit they have been to their business.  Are you interested in adding more to your business?  You can purchase the class planner HERE.

If you are not a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, but you’d like to learn how to make these projects then you can purchase the Stamp Class by Email version HERE.

Take $5.00 of your purchase of either the Stamp Class by Email OR the Class Planner when you use the coupon code CHRISTMAS.  Simply enter it into the appropriate section of the cart and then hit apply.  Please note that the coupon is only valid until Monday, October 10th.

*Please note, we are now offering the videos from this class to Paper Crafter’s Library subscribers as well as a written pdf on how to make the card basket. All other handouts – including the step-by-step photo tutorial, and features are remaining exclusive to the class planner/stamp class by email and will NOT be placed in Paper Crafter’s Library*

And now for a give-away! On Friday, October 7th Tuesday, October 11th,  5 lucky winners will receive the Stitched Stockings tutorial (supplies not included). All you have to do to enter is leave a comment in the comments section of this post.  If you’ve never left a comment before all you have to do is to click on the title of the post, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your comment in the comment box. Sometimes comments may take a little while to appear.

What a clever use of the Letters to Santa DSP! I like the changes you made to your class planner design. It will work great for me as I often need just 1 or 2 projects for an event and my customers want instructions. This will make it so easy for me! Writing good instructions is very time consuming. Now I can use the time you saved me to contact customers and stamp! Love it and would love to win the class planner!

Andrea, I haven’t done a lot of creating or selling in the last few years (except to myself) and I was casing different web sites for ideas but I have to say that you have the most beautiful and user friendly site out there. Thank you for posting.

Calendar and Note Pad Tin Kit Winners

Same drill for the winners of the Calendar and Note Pad Tin Kit.  Please email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com and be sure to put “Calendar and Note Pad Tin Kit Winner” in the subject line.  In the body of your email please be sure to send me your complete mailing address, along with phone number.  If your name was not drawn, we are still carrying these kits, as well as the calendars, note pads and tins in the Sunny Stampin’ Store.  Since the demand was so great and last year we had emails asking us for them all the way into December, we decided to order a few extra and keep them on hand “just in case”.

What I’ve been working on lately

Posted: Monday, September 19th, 2011 | Comments (7)

Although it’s been kind of quiet on this blog lately, I’ve actually been doing quite a bit of creating “behind the scenes”.  One of my latest endeavours is Club 52 – a year long technique club that I created for Paper Crafter’s Library members as a free benefit of their membership.  I have also launched this as a year-long online class, for non-members, which anyone can sign up for.  You can read a lot more about it from THIS page here.

We’re currently into the second week of the club, and I’ll be releasing the Week 3 technique on Wednesday.  Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve done so far:

Week 1, I introduced a technique I call the Swiped Background Technique – and there are 3 different variations of it – a one color, two color and three color variation.  You can see a sample below:

For Week 2, I introduced a technique I call the Blended Background technique – and there are two variations – a Pressed and Blended Background technique and a Dragged and Blended technique.  You can see a sample below:

I’m pretty excited about this class because I love techniques, and I love coming up with new ones.

A couple of other things:

Calendar & Note Pads & Red Liner Tape (aka, Sticky Strip)

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to enter into our draw for the 2012 Calendar and Note Pad tins – I’m going to announce the winners tomorrow. and if you’re interested, don’t forget to order your bundles.  All the information is in this post.

I already placed my Calendar and Note Pad order with the printer, but I did order a few extra, so if you missed out, they are still available on a first come first serve basis.  Once they are gone, they’ll be gone until 2013.

Sticky Strip is starting to ship out tomorrow afternoon. If you haven’t ordered yours and would like some, please do so before Wednesday, because as of Wednesday noon EST, the price is going up (our manufacturer notified us that our cost is going up). For more information click HERE.
