Today’s post is a quick one as I’m writing it on the fly. We were so busy on the weekend and I was so tired by the time we got back to our hotel room that I totally forgot about about getting today’s post ready. Today we’re planning on heading over to the Blizzard Beach water park for the morning and then probably over to one of the parks later this afternoon.
For today’s clean and simple card I decided to use a bunch of my patterned paper scraps from Stampin’ Up!’s Brights Designer Paper Stack to create flags along the bottom of my card. I cut them to 3/4″ wide, in varying heights and then notched the ends with my square punch. I butted them up against a small strip of black cardstock I had cut using my paper trimmer which Instuck across the center of my card. The greeting comes from Stampin’ Up!’s Curly Cute stamp set. I finished off the card with a few rhinestones just to fill in the white space a little and bling it up a bit.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card.
All the products I used on this card are Stampin’ Up! And can be purchased through your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. If you don’t have one, you can use the “Find a Demonstrator” feature at www.stampinup.com – just make sure you select the appropriate country first.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments section of this post and I’ll answer them in an upcoming post. My next post will be on Wednesday.
Please note that the video tutorial for this card will be put into the Paper Crafter’s Library within the next few weeks. It (and the video tutorials for all the projects I show on this blog starting with the So Grateful card) will be included in a new Stampin’ Up!-Only site which I’ll be launching in August (more details to come).
