Holiday Blitz Day 13: Top Note Genie Bag & Card-in-1 Tutorial….and another winner!

My wish would be that my mom feel peace and happiness this Christmas. My dad passed away in March so this will be her first Christmas without him. I wish I could be there (or she could be here with our kids getting her attention), but I’m glad my brother lives near her and she’ll spend the day with his family (kids!).

World peace and paid-off credit card debt! Wouldn’t we all be more civilized if we didn’t have that hanging over our heads?!!!

For a great Christmas for my Grandfather. His lady friend recently passed away and he doesn’t know what to be doing with himself. He is completly lost without her.

If I could have one wish this Christmas it would be to bless an impoverished family with a wonderful meal and presents for their famiy and an impoverished spirit to be filled with peace.

That our country’s economic woes would be ironed out. So many people are having little or no Christmas, losing their houses and are in complete financial devastation because of the mess our country is in. As a result many families won’t have the opportunity to be together this holiday season.

My wish would be for everyone to take a moment and remember what the season is really about. And, for those folks that are fortunate enough to be around their family and friends for the holiday – don’t take them for granted, because our time on this earth is not guaranteed.

My wish is that everyone could be with the ones they love…a roof over their heads, a warm fire and a good meal.

To spend Christmas with my Dad and siblings. The last time we were all together was 5 years ago when my Mom passed. My DH and children were not with me then. It would be wonderful to spend Christmas all together on a happy note.

For those far from God this holiday season to seek forgiveness and grace.

This is such a selfish wish that I am embarassed to wish for it after reading all the fantastic wishes that have been posted. But I wish for my unemployed husband to find a job. He has never in all his 60 years not worked and this is very difficult for him. I pray for him to find a job. Thanks.

I think that I would wish for the spirit of love to be instilled in each heart. When we love each other irritations, upsets, hard-feelings melt away and we exist peacefully together. We stop trying to force our will on others, we start caring what happens to the person we pass on the street, the storekeeper who checks us out at the grocery store, our neighbours, our community. Wouldn’t this world be a better place?

I would wish for the economy to get better. There are so many Americans struggling right now and it would be a blessing not to have to stress over it.

My wish is that now that I have one son in the Army (in basic training) and another getting ready to go in that they are kept safe from harm and are able to be home again for Christmas next year. Luckily this year, they will both be home for CHristmas. On a less personal note, I wish for the economy to improve (althought that will help me too)and jobs to become more readily available for all – Major businesses need to keep the jobs here and stop sending them to other countries to save money and support those here in their own country.

My wish would be for my whole family to celebrate Christmas together, like we did before, while I was growing up. We seemed to have grown apart and have become angry with each other. Not the family holidays like I remember. I wish for those days back, to introduce my boys to our family’s way of celebrating.

For so many things, good health for my family, piece of mind and acceptance of the many challenges of today’s world.

My personal wish: that my daughter gets pregnant. She and her husband are soon going to be too old. She had a miscarriage three years ago. I want her to experience the joys I have known as a mother.

My larger-vision wish: that all people go through the holidays hope, hope for a peaceful world, hope for a healthy economy, and the hope that love gives.

I would like to wish for good health, happiness and love to all. That we can learn to share these with one another. This past year my father and sister passed away – while I cannot have them with me this year – I wish that the rest of my family can find peace and solace knowing that they are in a better place. Wishing all a wonderful holiday season.

My personal wish would be for a very special person somewhere in another country carrying our baby to take care of herself and the baby she is carrying (so that would be a healthy baby). May she find peace in the decision she is making. Along with that debt free would be great so that I could stay home with the baby I have longed for all my life (40+ years next week).

I LOVE all your projects!! This has to be my favorite one yet though!!

As for my wish…a healthy economy so that all those that are stressed about it would be able to focus on God and their families this year.

My personal wish is for my entire side of the family (as few as there are) could be together for Christmas under good circumstances.

My idealistic wish is for the atrocious acts of men to cease and for Christ’s love and peace to rule the world.

My one wish would be that our soldiers could come home. There are too many families having to celebrate too many holidays without their loved ones.

That one is so easy:D I would wish for my sister to get this new job so that she could afford to come home for the holidays. She is all alone in North Carolina…determined to stay and “make it on her own” She is so brave IMO. So, if she knew she was going to get this job she would take the time before starting to come home and visit.

That one is easy. My son to come home for Christmas. He has been in Alaska for two years and I haven’t seen him. Other than that maybe a foot of snow.

I wish only for peace, health & wealth. Ellen A

My wish would be that we bring God back into our country and all people start acting like the honest, kind people that he would want us to be. There is entirely too much evil and we need to bring back peace and understanding for our fellow man.

My greatest wish is that my children will live with honesty, respect, courage, faith… all those things that we have been teaching to them!

There are things I could wish for myself and my family but I am truly Blessed is so many ways. My wish is for teens who have low self esteem, confidence and are the s of cruelty among other teens. There are times when these teens are victims by circumstances beyond their control. My wish is to help build the confidence of a teen and to show them the love and compassion they need.

My wish this Christmas is that my husband’s business (home construction) does not go under. This has been a really bad year and no end in sight for the country’s financial trouble. I hope and pray for it to get better soon.

That’s a hard question since there are a lot of things that I would wish for. I think that I would wish that all my family would be healthy for a long time to come. I also would love to have enough money to not worry about what I needed to buy. I’m not asking for a bunch of frills & expensive things, just some of the things that my family would enjoy. Kristi

My wish is for my kids. I want them to just grow up free of the burdens that I carried. They are off to a good start, (But havent hit their teens yet)

I wish that everyone would have more compassion. If we were more compassionate and thinking of others our eyes would be off ourselves and more on others. This would stop greed, hatred, violence, etc. This one aspect of love and caring could change the world.

I wish for all the troops in Iraq and that area to be safe and return home quickly! I pray daily for these men and women. I know their families would love to have them home for the holidays and I know they’d love to be home too.

I wish that everyone would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ – what a world it would be!!

I wish, for the new year, to find a job I’ll like in Quebec, near my family.

My wish would be for people to think more about others than they do themselves. We are so blessed in this country, but everyone wants MORE all the time. I sincerely wish this time of year people would remember what we are celebrating….the birth of Jesus and the glory HE brings to all of us.

My wish is that many would know the true meaning of this season and come to know our Savior!

I’d totally wish to have my whole family together for the holidays. We live all over the place and I haven’t spent x-mas with my family in over 5 years. In-laws are great but…LOL!

I think my Christmas wish would be that this coming year my husband will be able to find a job after he finishes school, and we move to a house that will better fit our family.

I wish that everyone would be able to celebrate the true Reason for the season – the Lord Jesus Christ, and that they might know Him.

My wish is that the Lord would put his arms around me and a hand across my mouth. I always seem to say the wrong wording to my husband and hurt him unintensionally.

I would love for my exhusband and I to get along for the children…I went through a horrific custody battle and the children really suffered. They are still suffering due to the anger my ex has against me. I wish he really knew that it’s all about the children.

My Christmas wish would be that my neighbor who has been diagnosed with both brain cancer and bone cancer- actually be around for the holiday. She’s been very sick so I’m hoping she can hang on for a while longer.

I wish for peace and comfort for all the troops abroad and that they will soon be home with their families.

Great project Andrea. My wish would be for my mom to get some pain relief. She’s got issues with her hip and is becoming more and more incapacipated.

My wish would be that our troops come home for good. I have many friends who are there now defending our country and would love to see them again. I’m sure their family would too.

But I have so much to be thankful for, and praise God for His working in my life.
