Stampin' Up! Carrie Gaskin

Every Friday I try to take the opportunity to introduce you to the wonderful creations of a different Stampin’ Up! demonstrator as part of my Stampin’ Up! Artist of the Week feature.  This week I’d like to introduce you to the talented Carrie Gaskin.

Carrie says: "I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator now since March 2005 but never stamped prior to signing up. I really saw the business potential and, well, my husband thought I needed a hobby so he strongly encouraged me to sign up. I don’t think he expected me to continue with my business this long but I am happy to say he is still encouraging me! I am a stay at home mom of two little ones as well (my daughter is 8, my son 5 1/2) so having the flexibility of my home based business has been wonderful. I have met some fantastic people over the past few years that are more than customers and fellow demos – but a second family.

I run classes and workshops from my home in beautiful White Rock, BC, as well as doing in-home workshops for hostesses – these are by far my favourite. I tend to do a lot of trade events as well and have found this really helps me grow my business. Next month brings my television debut when you can see me on Living Vancouver on CBC. I also enjoy maintaining my blog and look forward to a future blog venture coming soon!"

The gorgeous picture above and the card below were created and photographed by Carrie.  Be sure to take some time to check out all the great projects she has on her blog: Artistic Avenger.

How about you?  How would YOU like to be a Featured Stampin’ Up! Artist on my blog?  Click HERE for more information and to apply.

Andrea, I just recently discovered your blog and wanted to let you know how great I think your cards/projects are.

In fact I nominated you for a blog award. You don’t have to participate if this isn’t your thing but I wanted you to know that your work is appreciated.

Details here:

I’m also an SU Demo and I can tell that I’ll be (caseing your work for my stamp club) if you don’t mind. Hugs, Ida
