One Week Left to Register for the Online March Break Madness Class & a Blog Give-Away

March break (or spring break as we call in the States) isn’t really anything special for me yet because my 3 boys aren’t in school yet. But, I am looking forward to spring and the many fun projects that it will bring with it! Thanks for the chance to win your fun online class. It looks great, as everything you do does. I heard great things about the February online class.

We have “Spring Break” in the US and since I only have one in school we don’t really do anything…I just enjoy sleeping in since I work a graveyard shift and he can help with the younger kids!

Most March Breaks we travel from Halifax to Montreal to visit my husbands family. We so much look forward to this as my children get to spend time with their yia yia (Greek for grandmother) who just turned 81 and they have so much fun with their cousins, aunts & uncles. And of course they love to shop in Montreal (especially IKEA for me as we do not have one in Halifax). Have a great break everyone!

What? You mean there is a break in March??? LOL obviously I don’t do anything. my kids usually have a few days off around Easter so that’s “Spring Break” here in PA. after being hammered with 2 feet of snow in about 16 hours, I am ready for Spring!!! great idea for classes! does your price differ for US residents? I thoroughly enjoyed your 12 weeks of Christmas that I’m really wanting to see what you have up your sleeve!

In the UK, we only get a break in March, if Easter is in March! If we did get a break, it would be lovely to get away from our cold weather & head to somewhere hot for a bit of sun & relaxation! Or, I could just spend the time crafting…..!!!

Our family usually goes skiing out west during March; can’t beat spring skiing in the Rockies! The class looks very clever; should ba a fun one to try.

This looks like there are some really fun ideas. Loved the last class – A touch of Romance. The projects were beautiful. Would love to win a free registration for this one. No March break for us as we don’t have kids yet, but this would be great to do with my nieces and nephews. Maybe something for me to keep them out of mom’s hair for a few hours during the break.

My family attends a Little NHL hockey tournament during the 1st part of March break. We have been doing that for years as my older sons (now 23 and 19) have always played and my youngest son who is 8 years old is now playing. This year the tournament is in Sudbury. We usually get back home by Wednesday of the week long break and will still have plenty of time to get crafty! I am sure my daughter who is 7 as well as my son will love to create your projects with me. Thanks for a chance to win

we usually try to get away for at least part of the March Break, tho we are not always successful. Even tho you think it is going to be down time, there is always something that comes up and needs to be done, around the home. So, we may just take the week to max the relaxin’! That sounds good, too!

Great projects. What do I do on March Break. My school district does not give a March Break. In fact we do state testing about this time so it is a very busy time for us. We get a break around Easter. So at that time I sleep, eat, & stamp and of course referee the kids whoa re not at school either!

I am pretty boring….I have to work during March break. Winning this would make my day though.

Usually we’re hanging out, the weather is usually cold, so we’re cooped up and in each others’ hair.

Spring break is no big deal for me..both kids are too little for school. I know what I’d like to do…lots of stamping!!!

I am looking forward to opening up our camper. We have a seasonal site at a local campground and we will open up the camper to start our fun holiday season (all spring, summer and fall) at the camper! We can’t wait. It is great fun for the entire family including the furry kids!

This would be so much fun to do with the kids!!! March break doesn’t change much in our day to day routine but this would definitely be a highlight.

My daughter is in High School so she doesn’t need anything like this but it is so cute, and i have customers that have childen this age(and grandchildren). You just have a great eye for design and color, and both you and your siter are just full of amazing ideas! I hope to win something soon…since they are so cute!

What we do for spring break is different each year. Some years we go to Florida to visit my husband’s parents who winter in Florida. That’s what we are doing this year.

Don’t usually do much during spring break. I just enjoy knowing I don’t have to wake up with an alarm clock beeping and not packing lunches for a week. We usually spend March break in Florida, but this year we are back in Indiana because of a family illness. I recently purchased your Love Sparkles mini scrapbook and assembled it the evening I received it. Absolutely loved it. I’m giving it to my granddaughter for her 14th birthday.

I love every project that i have seen of yours. I no longer have any kids in school, mine are 29,25&23, however, I have the MOST ADORABLE 2 yr old grandson who will be going to school in a few years and is in daycare now. Andrea and Sophia….I do not have Spring Break plans because my kids are grown. One on her own and the other still living with us. Besides I started a new job and cannot take off yet. Wish I could though I so want to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas…maybe next year!

For March Break we usually go skiing in the mountains. I love to ski but do not like the cold weather so march is perfect time to go.

We usually take our kids skiing at Whistler during spring break. We fly to Seattle and drive up and when people ask how long it takes, the answer varies. It depends on how many stops we make at outlet malls!

We usually host a birthday party for our oldest daughter and then on one of the other days we visit a children’s museum, attend a kids movie or go to a butterfly exhibit. This time around our girls have 10 days off and we’ll be dog sitting for my dad, so activities that aren’t overnight ones will be on the docket. I wouldn’t mind some crafting time either.

These projects are wonderful. I really enjoy the things you and your contributors create. They often jumpstart my own ideas as well. Thanks for sharing so generously.

I am one of the “empty nesters” waiting for my first grandson to be born (early May – what a wonderful Mothers Day gift or should I say GRAND Mothers Day)
Over here in Australia our holidays are at different times, our next break is for Easter and School holidays in April. So nothing on the agenda but arty crafty activities – my favourite of course.

Spring break involves cleaning out the house!! the kids choose how to go through their own rooms and make piles: keep give away garbage. And then they can enjoy their rooms while they are home. We also try to go visit my mom on one of the gulf islands in bc.

During spring break this year, I will be enjoying getting acquainted with my new grandson. He is scheduled for arrival on March 16th. I am so excited!!

March Break is sometimes like a madness for me. The kids are home from school the entire family comes to our house for Easter & they are all usually here for about 4 days & sometimes my oldest goes back with my parents for the rest of the week so there is a light at the end of the tunnel… all in all I love all the family together. There are always lots of laughs when we get together because the family is in Jersey & we are in MD… not real far away but it’s enough that we don’t see each other as often

Loved the last class. The projects were so beautiful & I have already altered the 1st day box into a Boss’ 10th anniversary box. All the co-workers have written a fun memory about him & we are going to slip them into the box & give it to him at the party we are having for him. I did this box one & have been givning my husband a card each day & wow what a great responds… I won too, everything I said I love about him he is doing that much more & most I benefit from. Thanks for that too! LOL

Not sure what I will do this year. I have been in college the past 8 years and worked full time most of those years so I am used to studing or working during break as they never coinsided with each other (work in public schools). It was a break of sorts as I only had one thing to do for one week at two different times instead of two. So, this year I guess I will play for a week with my stampin stuff!!!!

We usually go on a cruise but not this year. We are having a staycation. Finding things to do closer to home. Love your ideas.

We normally don’t do anything for Spring Break but this year my friend that owns a scrapbook store is having a weekend crop for my 30th birthday on March 26th and then the next weekend we will be having my youngest son’s first birthday on Saturday and Easter on Sunday! I’m also planning to fit a kid’s camp in there somewhere

Growing up, spring break meant no school. Since school and not having any kids, I don’t get spring break anymore. If I did I would love to go on vacation to a nice warm place.

My son and I love Spring break. We make Easter cookies, color eggs, shop for new Easter outfits and just spend time together. This year we’re going to Mexico, with friends & family, to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday.

We do not do much for spring break, our school does not give time off for spring break. But I would love to have time to craft. The projects look like a lot of fun.

Wowie Zowie – the March class looks like so much fun. Alas – my children are grown with families of their own – and some live out pof state while my daughter lives about 6 hours away.

I normally don’t do anything for Spring Break – however your class has given me an idea. My street has several children whop come from broken homes and unfortunately they don’t receive the ki9nd of attention they deserve. I have been trying to get the elderly on my street together to do a stamping class – just so they get to meet other neighbors and not be fearful of each other. So why can’t I do that for the kids on my street? It would give them something to do, give a parent time off, let the kids know that somebody does care, and maybe make me feel like I’m contributing to my community.

While I won’t be able to buy the class for Spring Break (Soc. Security doesn’t go very far), I can still use some of the other planners I’ve purchased from you and adapt them somehow for the kids.

My kids have always been in year round school, so we’ve never had a March break before. We usually like to go away during the February break.

In the Boston area schools, we have a week school vacation in February and April but not in March. I take the kids skiing the winter week in February. We have a ski condo at Bretton Woods in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Our spring break is a week in April and I will be taking my 16 year old twin daughter and son to visit some colleges.

My kids are homeschooled so we usually don’t have a break the same time as public schools but because our friends are on break – I’ve always wanted to do some kind of craft class with them and your ideas totally inspire me!

We veg out in the mornings and in the afternoons we visit with friends, have friends over, go shopping, go to a movie and maybe tobogganing. This year we have a costume party and after the class, lots of crafts to do!!

Well, I don’t have small children anymore. They are all grown. However, I am an Educational Coordinator for a childcare company in my area and one of my job responsibilities is to plan events for school age children during their time with us, during their Spring Break. This would be one fun thing I could share with them.

I usually work while my hubby and kids enjoy their time off! I save my time off for the summer when we spend a lot of time together camping.

Since I don’t have any kids yet, I usually spend Spring Break working! Come to think of it, it would be amazing to have an entire week off and spend most of my time stamping.

We usually spend family time or go visit grandparents during March Break/Spring Break, but this year the first two days will be spent in school making up for snow days…yuck!

When I used to work which was being a school principal I always went away for a week to sunshine and sand. Now I am retired I usually spend 3 months in California so I have a long March break. wow i’m impressed as always… wonderful project !!!

During our annual Spring Break we put our kids to work! It’s not too bad though! My husband will take this time off work, and we spend time out in the garage finding the bicycles, pumping up tires, raising bike seats, fixing loose chains… getting everything ready so once all the snow melts off we can enjoy the spring weather. We also dust out the camp trailer, air it out, and get it ready for summer. (Unfortunately we also have to get the lawn mower and trimmer ready as well!)

No special plans just some spring cleaning. Getting the camper ready, cleaning up the garage. I would really like to get stuff ready for a spring garage sale. And of course lots of stamping time. It would be nice to win the class it looks like fun.

Well for Spring Break we normally don’t do anything but this year I think me and my son will go down to Louisiana to my mother’s. My father passed away on New Years eve and she is still having a hard time dealing with it. I think it would do her good to have us there with her and do some stuff together. As a homeschooling mom I don’t have March break. I am thinking of time off to drive “to the farm” to see Grandma around Easter though. I often take some of my prepped work there to work on. BTW I love th paint can.

We try to take a vacation with the kids, hopefully to somewhere warm. This year we’re going to Cancun. In years past we’ve gone to Disney World (crazy crowded at that time), Hawaii and the Dominican Republic. After all the snow we’ve (we live near Washington DC) gotten this year (with more to come tonight), we are definitely looking forward to some fun in the sun in Mexico! We usually celebrate my Daughters birthday during March break. If I am working, my kids have gone to camp for the week which they enjoy.

Cleaning and stamping are my time off activities, usually. This year though we have grandkids coming to visit. So the cleaning will be put on hold. Aw shucks!

I like to get my craftroom back in order and CRAFT! When I reorganize I find stuff I have forgotten about and gives me new inspiration.

Love the creative projects this month! As for March break (or spring break in the US), we would go to the ocean when my kids were younger. However, the kids are grown and I am enjoying my first year of retirement….so, no plans yet.

I avoid all the MADNESS and just stamp. Actually, we do have a March MADNESS stamp day. If them men get to have fun watching the game then we should have fun Stamping ALL day!!

Spring Break as we call it here in the “US”, will be in APRIL.. This year we are hoping to take a trip down to Atlanta to the Aquarium. My son and I took this trip last year since DH was deployed he missed out. He will be deploying again at the end of the summer and APRIL will be our month to have some good quality FAMILY TIME before madness begins.

Wow, this looks like a fun class! Unfortunately I do not do anything too exciting for march break. I still have little kids and so we just stay home.

We usually don’t get a chance to do much. We enjoy March Madness (basketball tournaments) and usually get a really good dose of snow around that time. It’s fun just having time at home without having to go into work so we can play in the snow. I usually take the time off work since the kids don’t have school and just hang out!

This is so cute! We usually find some place to travel to for spring break. For the past few years we have gone to Washington DC (from Washington State) to visit my son who lives there.

We have spring break here in the states and it is usually in April.
We don’t do anything special as my daughter plays Lacrosse and has games over break therefore cannot go anywhere. Soooo…we usually take advantage of the time and go Prom dress shopping(at least last year and this year).This year will be fun and sad as she is a senior!
So I guess family time is what we do over break! )

Usually for march break I pray for winter to be done but it seems it never ends. That’s what I get for my day job being a letter carrier in Michigan! While I wait I stamp and I hope this year to finish the quilt I started last year. Hugs and happy stamping Lori Watson

We don’t go anywhere for spring break, as we are getting ready for planting season (we farm 500 acres in WI and there is a ton of things to do to get all the equipment ready). But we do try to have at least one day of family fun time.

We get two weeks for Sprink Break here…with the boys playing lacrosse (field and box) and soccer playoffs, we will be staying close to home….Hopefully I will be doing class, when you pick me!!!

Unfortunately, work does not provide for a Spring break adventure. I am looking forward to warmer days ahead and the kids being able to get outside and play without looking like a marshmallow. Darn groundhog had to go see his shadow!

We try to do something fun during our break. Sometimes we go to Sea World. Other times we just try to do fun stuff at home. Also usually we get to celebrate my son’s birthday during that time.

During March Break this year I hope that I can do something special with my niece and nephews since I have no school aged children of my own. Maybe take in a movie and then have a cardmaking session. They can make some Easter cards and Mother’s Day cards as well. Wish me luck!

Super cute projects…as usual! During Spring Break, I’m usually working and I send my 11 year old with dad (he can bring him to work which is really helpful)…but this year, I took the week off. So far, we have no plans but I’m sure we’ll see a movie or hit the beach or pool for a couple days. I also need to clean the house (ugh…on going issues there!).

During Spring break which falls for us in April I usually take the kids to see the latest movie that’s out. We love to go to the movies! I get to do my stamping since I don’t have to go to work for 2 weeks. The kids get to spend time with their friends that go to other schools. We mostly hang out at home and have friends over or the kids go over to their friends’ homes. I would love to win so I’ll have something to do with them that’s fun and different.

I love your projects! During Spring Break I’ll be working but I will also be celebrating my oldest son’s Birthday. I just started stamping so I have started setting aside one day on the weekend where me and my two boys work on a craft project together. It’s really great family time.

We usually stick around home for Marchbreak. My husband can never get the time off, so we try and enjoy what we can do around here. This winter there isn’t much snow, so we’ll see what we’ll do. Sure would be fun to do some stamping. My little girl who is 4 loves stamping, just like me.

I am a librarian for a school board and by March Break I am ready for a break. Since my husband is working and I have no kids, I spend it cleaning the house. Last year I steam cleaned the carpets and did a thorough clean, it was great but not terribly relaxing. This year I intend to play with all my paper and toys! That kit is adorable and looks like so much fun! I am trying to think of good library fundraisers, and this would be perfect! Hope you get to enjoy your break!

I dropped off my daughter AND my Bigshot at daycare today (it’s in-school daycare). They have a PD day on Friday so the kids are in the daycare all day. They’ll be using the BigShot to make valentines gifts for mom and dad. So fun!

I’d love to be able to share some march break ideas with them too, so I’m hoping I get to take this class. If I don’t use the ideasthen, I can use them during summer. I can make my daughter proud by going in and leading a kiddy workshop

For us in Australia, February is the beginning of our school year. So March means settling into new routines, enrolling and settling into new activies and seeing our friends after the school summer holidays.

Spring break for us usually means heading to Florida and enjoying the sun and sand. This year will be a bit different – but no less fun! My youngest and I are heading out for a very special trip!

My March Break is busier then my normal work week. I run an after school program and that week of course the kids are out of school.
So we spend our week doing various activities, crafts and several themed days.

When my daughter lived in Seattle, we used to visit her on our “Spring Break”. I love Seattle. Now that she moved back near us…4 short blocks away…we don’t do anything. Now there’s a good idea. Seattle again!

Usually I spend my March break relaxing! I am a teacher and by the time March break rolls around I’m usually ready for a rest! And of course lots of card making and scrapbooking!

We don’t do “Spring Break” – in March – ours is in April – anyways – we don’t do vacations this early in the year so my DD and I are usually stamping and scrapping in the basement!

We try to go to Florida to visit friends and get away to the warmer climate. Winter can last an awfully long time here in upper New York State.

We are both retired, so don’t do anything special for Spring Break. We can travel and do whatever we want all year long (as long as we can afford it). Just went to Utah and visited with kids and grandkids. Have a wedding to attend early in May and a High School graduation in late May. Sure would love to win this class.

March madness – I need a break from school. Here in Georgia, we have three makeup days – two flood days and one snow day we are making up so we do not have a break until April.

I could use something to cheer me up until April.

During March Break, I try to do things with my family. When my children were younger, we would try to go on a short family holiday, or on day trips in our local area. My son is now at university in Ottawa, but he IS coming home next week for his reading week. Hopefully we’ll be able to do something together. His 17 year old sister will be off in March, and so we’ll do something else then. The important thing is to do things together. Not necessarily earth-shattering activities, but something everyone enjoys. I will probably do some papercrafting with my daughter, as her creativity far exceeds my own. Thanks Andrea and Sophia for all you do!

During March break, we are usually out of town with business. The company cancelled the trips with the economy being in bad shape. This year for Spring Break our local community college, where I happen to be a secretary, is trying to break the World’s Record for the Largest Meatball in the world and I am part of the group going for the record. So I will be right here creating and cooking a 400 pound meatball. We will then serve it (in a meatball sub sandwich form) along with the fixings for a meal and invite the surrounding communities to come on in and eat for free. We are expecting to serve 800 individuals from area soup kitchens, homeless shelters and anyone else that wants to come and eat. Look for Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, Michigan to make the national news on March 15, 2010 for this record breaking event. How’s that for a lofty goal?

Ohhh these projects look amazing. My daughter would love to create the pony card. That stamp set is on my wishlist for her. I am not too sure what we are going to do for March break/Spring break. My kids are little (daughter in preschool and son not 2 yet). We will probably go for walks if the weather is nice and perhaps to the local library a couple of times.

Spring sounds like a great idea! Winter has gone on long enough now; I’m ready for some lighter, brighter projects. This class sounds like a super way to get spring off to a great start. Sure hope I win….

We don’t have March break per se, but for Easter break we usually head down to Moab for camping and to check out all the crazy people climbing the rock formations in their Jeeps!! It looks like you’ve created some more great projects!

I am a teacher so I enjoy just relaxing and having some time to spend at home and being with my husband!

since my kids are still small… no spring break ! but this year, i’m off since waiting for twins to come in about one month or so… but dlimited capacity to move makes it difficult to plan anything !

Sadly, we never go anywhere for Spring Break. I would LOVE to go to Mexico or someplace sunny, but I would have to do it in April (or February would be better), to avoid all the partying college kids.
