Blessed Christmas
Posted on: Tuesday, October 16th, 2007I came across THIS gorgeous card on SCS by atomicbutterfly and decided to re-create it using different colors, and tweaking the stamping a bit. I used Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory, Mellow Moss and Vanilla cardstock. The card is a 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ card. The images are from the Peaceful Wishes stamp set – one of my all-time favourite sets for its versatility and elegance. I got the 2 different shades of mellow moss for the pine bough by stamping-off for the lighter shade. I did the same thing for the 2 lighter shades of pine cones. For this I used Close to Cocoa ink. The darker pine cones were stamped in Craft Chocolate Chip ink then clear embossed. The berries were stamped in Versa Mark, then gold embossed. The Greeting is from the stamp set Star-Studded Season. It was stamped in Craft Chocolate Chip ink and then clear embossed. I sponged Mellow Moss around the outside of the vanilla cardstock mat. The ribbon is the gorgeous Chocolate Chip Satin ribbon in the Holiday Mini Catalogue. Have a great day!

Love this! So much I may CASE it and use it as next years xmas card. Do you think it would look okay if I modified it to a 4.25×5.5 card. I think square cards are extra to mail.
