“There’s Only One You” Stampin’ Up! Card & A Give-Away of the “Oh Hello” Class Tutorial
Posted on: Wednesday, February 6th, 2013Today I’ve got a few different things to share with you. First off, here’s a card I created using Stampin’ Up!’s More Amore Designer Series Paper. I die cut three different sized hearts out of the DSP using the Hearts Framelits. I then layered them onto an embossed card front (4″ x 4″ created out of Pool Party CS) and stitched across them in black thread with my sewing machine. The sentiment is from the Vintage Verses SAB set (Sale-a-Bration is going on right now at Stampin’ Up!) and I stamped it BEFORE I embossed my Pool Party CS with the Polka Dots embossing folder.
I’m also excited to share with you our latest Stamp Class by Email/Class Planner – “Oh Hello”
I’m really excited about this class because it uses some of my favorite products in the Occasions Mini Catalogue – the Oh Hello stamp set, the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the Tea For Two DP and the new Ovals Framelits Dies.
I have to say that this is probably one of my all-time favourite planners – we really made use of the fun, colourful geometric designs in the patterned paper. There’s lots of color, lots of texture and lots of great designs. This month’s class also features a great window box (the window is in the shape of an oval which you can see below:
As I used to in the past, I am offering two versions – a Stamp Class by Email version which is a step-by-step photo tutorial with full color photos, full supply list & a cutting guide – as well as a Class Planner version for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators which includes the Stamp Class by Email tutorial (called the Class to Go Handout) as well as all the additional materials you need to offer it as a class to your own customers. What a beautiful box! The card peeks look gorgeous too. I am quite curious how you cut the dsp in the diagonal lines with the honeycomb shape along the edges! I am praying there is some easy technique. My class attendees do not like cutting things out by hand very much.
