The Total Woman Show
Posted on: Monday, February 16th, 2009Whew – what a crazy, busy, but FUN weekend I had at the Total Woman Show! Although it was a lot of work getting ready for it, it was so totally worth it! I’d like to thank everyone that took the time to stop by my booth for a visit. I really enjoyed seeing all of you, and having the opportunity to personally meet many of you. We had over 500 people stop and make a card. Isn’t that awesome? If you loved stamping and want to get more involved then don’t forget to mark Friday, March 6th on your calender and either email me andrea@sunnystampin.com or call me (519) 620-8810 to reserve your spot in my Get Started Stamping class - it’s only $5 and you’ll get to make two simple but beautiful cards. If you weren’t abe to make it to the Total Woman Show you’re welcome to come as well for the same great price. Don’t forget – you’re always welcome to bring a friend. If you can’t make it that night then be sure to keep checking my classes & events calendar as I’ll be updating it with a lot more great classes.
Since so many of you don’t live close enough to have been able to attend the Total Woman Show, I thought I’d share a few pictures of my booth and what we did with you. The first three pictures I’m going to share, I took just before the show opened on Saturday. Sorry the pictures are a bit over-exposed – I always find it hard to take photos indoors and have them come out looking okay. The picture you see below is what my whole booth looked like. I had a 10′ x 10′ corner booth with two 8′ x 10′ black panel display boards, a banner graphic in the center, a table for my door prize, catalogues, etc., and a Make and Take table.

This next picture shows you a bit of close up of the panel and table I had on the left:

Here’s a picture of the right hand panels:

Throughout the two days of the show our booth was quite busy – thank heavens I had such wonderful helpers as I couldn’t have done it without them (I’ll introduce you to them in a minute).

Here’s a close up of the Make and Take table. We were able to fit up to 8 people making a card at one time with two demonstrators showing them how to make the card:

Below is a picture of the card that everyone made – we used the Garden Greetings stamp set and the Sweet Serendipity greeting set. We used Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss Classic inks.

And last, buy definitely not least – here is a picture of me with my helpers at the end of a great show. From left to right: Karen Harman, me, Tracy Wegener, Maureen Walford (my mother-in-law) and Christina Clarke. I also had one more helper – Val Promoli, who was there on Saturday – but unfortunately I didn’t get a picture with her. I want to extend a HUGE thank you to all of them. I would never have been able to do this show without them. Not to mention the fact it wouldn’t have been half as fun without them!

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by – I look forward to stamping with you again soon!

Wow! What a fabulous space! I’m impressed that you could fit the make-and-take table in there too! Love the posters! Just for my info, what did you offer up in the basket that I assume was a door prize/raffle basket? I have to do one up for next week and I’d love to know what other people are thinking. (I’m doing a catalog with the SAB flyer, an SAB set, a gift certificate, and my class schedule — I’m also thinking I’ve got to put together one of your boxes like the cupcake box to include!).

Great job! Your booth looked very professional, and it’s easy to see a lot of thought went into its design. Although I live very far away (South Texas), you’re positive, creative, and professional influence spreads far and wide. Thanks for all you do and share.

Wow Andrea, you are to be congratulated for your outstanding display. If I had been there I would have been one of those people in line waiting to do a make-in-take. Your are a very gifted person and the most sharing person I have ever met. (well, I haven’t personally met you, but feel like it thru your emails. TFS. Your SU bud from Haslett, MI

Andrea your booth for the show looks fabulous.
I can see it beeing a lot of work – I don’t know how you find time to stamp when you are so busy creating planners, workshops, and preparing for shows like the Total Women Show.
You are Amazing!!

Andrea Thanks so much for sharing the photos of your booth. I am doing one this weekend for the womens fair here in Wichita(my 7th year) and I really am impressed with how your booth looked. I am setting up tomorrow. I really love your booth. Congrats on all of the make n takes. I am going to put together a simple make n take and planned on using a punch and trying to use up some of my colored scraps (I have soooooo many of them). I do love your little card they made. Thanks for sharing. It is very inspirational to those even when we have been with SU for 13 years.

Andrea,
I am just blown away each time I visit your site. Congratulations on that great show! The displays are incredible. I just sent them to my friend in Kitchener, (I live in Indiana), and told her again to contact you.
Thanks for the inspiration and boost of confidence! Dolly (Paper Doll)
