Sunflower Fairy Tutorial
Posted on: Thursday, June 18th, 2009
I had such great response with the punch bear tutorial and so many requests for more punched creations that I came up with another little Punch Project for this week. She is my little Sunflower Fairy. She is not hard to do, and she can be altered into a Rose, Hydrangea, Lilac or any other type of flower fairy that you would like. I would have preferred a little more contrast between her boots and the background, but by that point I was too tired to try and change her *lol*. So here she is sitting in a field of Sunflowers. To make the clouds, please refer to my Sponging Tutorial. The background colors for the hills are Certainly Celery, Kiwi Kiss and some leftover Wild Wasabi. I am notorious for stocking up on the In Colors that are moving out, so I still have packs of all the previous colors. The small Sunflowers are punched out of Barely Banana and the scallop circle is die cut from Tangerine Tango. To access the Tutorial for the fairy, please click the download link provided. I have so many more ideas for punch projects that I can’t wait to share in the coming weeks. I hope so much that you enjoy it!

How cute is she. I have to show this to my mom. She loves Sunflowers or maybe I will save her for a card I can make for her. It is amazing what you can do with punches. You have a talent when you can look at a punch & change what you get with it.
