Stampin’ Up! Stamp Simply Saturday
Posted on: Saturday, June 7th, 2008
Today’s Stampin’ Up! Stamp Simply Card is definately a very simple card. I stamped it in less than 15 minutes including getting out my supplies, cutting the CS and DP, stamping, assembling and cleaning up! You’ve just gotta love cards like that! Of course I”m sure it helps that I was motivated by the fact that it was 11:30 pm when I started and I had really been wanting to go to bed early for once (by 10 pm) – *lol! Oh well! Maybe tomorrow night! This card uses the Bronc Buster set which I got fairly soon after the Stampin’ Up! Convention last summer – but have probably only used a couple times since then. Since we’re celebrating my brother-in-law’s birthday on Sunday, I figured I’d kill two birds with one stone – make a card I could use for today’s feature AND be able to give it to my brother-in-law!
As is typical with my Stamp Simply Saturday cards, I look for quick and easy ways that you can give a card a little "zing" without making it too time consuming. Although you’ve heard me say it before, and you’ll hear me say it again….it’s all in the details – extra layers, some designer paper (DP) a bit of ribbon , a couple brads, and some paper piercing. These elements all took close to no time to add, but took an extremely plain card and dressed it up!
Stamps: Bronc Buster, A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: Chocolate Chip Classic Ink
Paper: River Rock & Chocolate Chip CS, Western Sky DP
Accessories: Vintage Brads, Twill Chocolate Chip ribbon, 1/16" handheld punch, paper piercer & foam mat.

I LOVE your blog, I love your simple yet elegant designs, and I love your themed days…”Stamp simply Saturday”, etc. My favorite part is that you still feature Stampin Up stamps and supplies which are my favorite! Keep up the great work!!! -Jackie

Wow, looks great. My cards never come together that quickly, or if they do, they don’t look very pro.
Love your blog and all the inspiration you share with us.

Love this card! Simple and elegant at the same time. I borrowed your template for a creation of my own, with my own small alterations of course. So easy! You can see it at my site: http://www.StampSomeMore.wordpress.com THANKS!!
