Island Oasis Stamp Class by Email and Class Planner Give-Away!
Posted: Friday, June 18th, 2010 | CommentsWhat better way to usher in the summer than with this bright, fun tropical-themed gift set? In this class you’ll learn how to make this ultra-cute pillow-shaped purse box and these five note cards (3 1/2″ x 5″). Please note that this month’s class was given as a gift to those Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that attended the Ottawa Stampin’ Girl’s convention. If you were one of the attendees and are a class planner or stamp class by email subscriber then please be sure to email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com and I will give you a digital product or online class of your choice in place of this class.
As is typical, this class is available in two formats. The class planner version for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators can be purchased HERE. The Stamp Class by Email version is available HERE.
I will also be giving away a free class to 5 lucky winners. To enter your name in the draw all you have to do is to leave a comment on this post. Winners will be announced on Monday.
Just a quick note as well, I’m working on moving up the release dates of the planners to the first of the month. So the July class will be released on July 1st.
Finally Friday Card and the Winner of the 2 Upcoming Online Classes
Posted: Friday, May 7th, 2010 | CommentsAren’t you just thrilled it’s Friday? I sure am. Even though our weekends are typically just as busy as our weekdays, we’re busy doing different things. Tonight my husband an I are going out for dinner at our favourite restaurant – The Charcoal Steakhouse - they have the BEST steak in the Kitchener/Cambridge/Waterloo area – and we’ve tried out quite a few restaurants. Tomorrow morning we’re helping out at our school’s annual walk-a-thon / bike-a-thon. Other than going to church on Sunday morning, the rest of our weekend is spent doing family activities. On Sunday afternoon we’ll probably take my grandfather to Costco for french fries. He says they have the “best french fries ever” LOL. Right now we’re trying to spend as much time as possible with my grandpa (he lives with us), because he’s struggling a bit right now. It’s been just over a year since my grandmother passed away – a very difficult and painful time for us all. Although we’ve been doing our best to keep him at the heart our family life and to try and give him purpose, he’s struggling right now. My grandmother was his heart and soul…his entire life’s focus. If you are so inclined, please pray for us that we can give him what he needs.
The card I wanted to share with you today is a simple but striking card. As with my Trigger Tuesday projects, the “trigger” for this project was a fun picture I saw at pottery barn kids:
If you click on the picture itself, it will take you to the Pottery Barn Kids website listing for this product.
I just loved the bright vibrant colors of these crayons and the way this picture was put together. It immediately evoked in my mind an image of bright and colorful, but clean and simple.
Here you can see my card idea come to life:
Isn’t it fun and bright? You can download a pdf handout on how this card was made HERE.
Okay, and now onto the winner of our 2 upcoming online classes:
Drumroll please……………………..

Easter Bunny Quilt Card & the Winners of the Easter Blooms Class
Posted: Monday, March 22nd, 2010 | CommentsWell I guess it’s time to ‘fess up….I played hookey from my blog and from work last week. Yup you read that right. Last week was March break (i.e. Spring Break) for our kids, and for the first time ever, I decided that I really didn’t feel like working. Instead, I spent the week doing stuff with the kids. I sure had a lot of fun. Our family life is so busy that I find that I often don’t get the opportunity to spend much time with the 3 older kids because they’re in school full days. When they get home from school it’s homework, dinner, and then they want to play with their friends…before we know it the evening is gone, it’s time for bath and bed. Weekends are typically equally busy, so it was really nice having that time with them.
Today’s card is an Easter-themed card that was inspired by a card I saw in the April 2010 CARDS magazine. You can download a pdf handout on how the card was made HERE. The pdf includes step-by-step written directions with a full supply list.
Okay, and now onto the winners of the Eastern Blooms Class.

Posted: Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 | CommentsIt’s one of my favorite times of the month again….time to share my newest class design & to give-away some more goodies. I had so much fun designing this month’s Stamp Class by Email and Class Planner. I used the brand new Eggcoutrements stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog & Stampin’ Up!’s 3 1/2″ x 5″ Note Cards & Envelopes to create this cute monochromatic card set. My card holder this month is a super cute bunny basket – in comes in two sizes, a small one for treats or a larger one that can either hold the cards or hold larger treats. You can see a closer shot of the two baskets below.
