May Scrapbook Planner is Here and you have a chance to win a FREE copy!
Posted on: Thursday, May 7th, 2009
Whew! It’s been a crazy busy month and the worst part of it is that is barely started *lol* I’m still trying to catch up on the aftermath of everything that happened in our family in March and April – but under a tighter deadline than normal because we leave this Friday evening on a 1 week family trip. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about our trip! My husband and I are taking the three older kids (ages 10, 9, 6) and my niece (age 9) on a “trip of a lifetime” to Disney. Ever since we became parents we’ve dreamed of doing Disney the “right way”. This year was finally the year. When we booked our trip in March, Disney had a fantastic special – pay for four nights and get three free. It also applied to the park hopper pass and I think the meal plan. We’ll be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and booked a savannah-view room so supposedly when we step out on the balcony we’ll be able to see wild animals. I’m sure you can image how excited the kids are. While I am away I am bringing my computer because unfortunately, the nature of running an online business means that I can’t be totally unaccessible. If any of you do need help with any of the planners you have purchased my assistants will be keeping up with my email. The good news is that because I will have my computer, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to share a few pictures with you!
Okay, and now onto today’s release. On the 7th of every month I release my scrapbook planner. The aim of the scrapbook planners are to make it easy for non-scapbooking demonstrators (or scrapbooking demonstrators who just don’t have time) to “break” into the scrapbooking market and start offering scrapbooking classes and scrapbook kits by mail to their customers. Each scrapbook planner highlights a 2-page 12″ x 12″ layout of my own design, & comes with a Demonstrator Guide, a Class-to-Go handout (which is a step-by-step photo tutorial with scrap map), a summary customer handout (for traditonal classes), a blog entry and advertising pictures. I design the layout so that it is super easy to prep for and run, and so that it is also easy to put together as a class kit by mail. Now you’ll notice in the sneak peek above, I used the Big Shot die. In the planner, I have designed an alternate version just in case you do not own a Big Shot.
The demonstrator planner is available in my Demo to Demo store which you can see if you click HERE. New this month I’m also offering a Scrapbook Class by Email version which you can purchase HERE.
And of course everyone’s favourite part….I’ll be giving away 5 free planners. All you have to do to enter is to leave a comment in the comments section of this post. Winners will be announced some time next week.

I love the page! I have not had a chance to try out your scrapbook pages yet. This might be the one! Have a fantastic time on your trip. I have not been to Disney in such a long time. We have always camped at the campground. I do love the Lodge it is so nice. We always go around each evening before heading back to the campground & stop at a different hotel to see what they look like… As Guests of Disney you get the benefits of all the hotels. Have a Super time with the kids & get in some R&R.

This planner looks GREAT! I loved the last one I ordered-it went together very easily and the instructions were thorough, easy to understand and complete (some others I have seen tend to leave a step out here and there).

Andrea, great scrapbook layout design. You definitely described me in your post about who these planners are for. I haven’t broke into the scrapbooking business with my customers and with four busy kids I don’t have time. I do however have an abundance of pictures as I am never far from my camera. I keep telling myself someday.
Have a great time on your Disney trip it does sound like the trip of a lifetime. Thank you, Tonya

Nice page! Love all you do! Happy Mother’s Day in advance to you and Soph
May 7th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
It’s so nice to see a great masculine page – with flourishes! I think that most of us shy away from anything “girly”, when they can be successfully used for both masculine and feminine pages.
May 7th, 2009 at 7:17 pm
Enjoy your well-deserved vacation, Andrea!
May 7th, 2009 at 7:17 pm

May 7th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
You never cease to amaze me, Andrea! I so love this idea and would love to win this one.
I took my daughter to WDW when she was 4 and we arrived right after a hurricane (we ere just fine). Now, not to be mean, but it was fun as most people canceled their trips due to the weather and she had the time of her life with all the characters and one-on-one time she received! I have so many photos of that trip. I hope you all have a wonderful time.
Thanks
May 7th, 2009 at 9:41 pm

May 8th, 2009 at 12:02 am
I love the idea of layouts about dad, so often my layouts are all frilly with flowers and “girly colors” I need help creating more of those “manly” pages.
May 8th, 2009 at 12:03 am
Frankly, scrapbooking scares me senseless but with a planner like the ones you provide would make it a snap and I believe I could do it.
Have a wonderful trip. Breath deeply and cherish each moment.
May 8th, 2009 at 12:18 am
This looks like a super layout, Andrea . . . and I so hope you and the family have a wonderful, restful (well, I guess it won’t be REAL restful . . .but fun!) time at Disneyland . . you deserve some good rn’r after the last few months, and I hope you come home “restored”!

Great page! I am sure the planner is worth every penny!! Have a wonderful time at Disney! You are smart waiting til the kids are old enough to really enjoy it. Watch out for “park overload” Sometimes it is best to head back to the pool for some “hydrotherapy” in the afternoon!
Love to see pics if you can do it while still enjoying your time with family!
May 8th, 2009 at 6:24 am
Andrea I so look forward to your website every morning. You have spoiled us, but please keep spoiling….we love it! Your creativity is so awesome. Wish you lived closer or can I come and live at your house!! I promise to stay in the stampin room only Hahaha

May 8th, 2009 at 7:00 am
What a great layout! I always have such a hard time with scrapbooking layouts. They feel like they have to be just right, to show exactly what I’m trying to remember. This does it perfectly.
Enjoy your trip!
May 8th, 2009 at 7:09 am
You will love Disney. I went with my family last summer. The one BIG problem that I have is that I took so many pictures that I can’t scrapbook them all. It has been a real struggle what get to go in the scrapbook and what just goes back in the file.
I do use my Big Shot for a lot of pages but there still just enough room for all of the pictures!!!
May 8th, 2009 at 7:12 am
Looks great Andrea. I don’t know how you do it all. You will love Disney – I have the same problem as Yvonne from our trip last year and what a perfect age for the kids to go. Have fun!
May 8th, 2009 at 7:22 am

Have a wonderful time in Disney!
May 8th, 2009 at 6:01 pm
Wow I cant believe how one person can always have so much going on
in their lifes. How do you do it with all your kids. You must have
lots of help. How do you do all the mother, wife, leader, and your
workshop sale classes and a blog. There is no way any one can do
all that, what do you give up to do it all. How can you find time
to leave everything and go away.
May 8th, 2009 at 6:04 pm
I have been following your blog for over 1 year now, and you always
have something going on in your life where you have to make up
excuses on why this cant be done or why you did not do this. I hope
you do not do this for everything in your life, seems that way since
I have been following your blog.
May 8th, 2009 at 6:30 pm

Andrea, relax..not going to happen there is so much to do and so much fun. I took my daughter and granddaughter & yes of course my husband as well. I had so much fun, wanted to go on every ride twice just incase I had missed something the first time. I took tons of pictures and have the scrap book just about finished. ENJOY!!!!

May 8th, 2009 at 8:25 pm
You all will have a great time. We took our girls this year, and we had a blasted! Just a hint with the meal plan: Epcot’s restaurants are a great value (the steak at Le Cellier in Canada were awesome and their kids choice of meals were great.)We planned out where we would eat and made reservations before we went, if you don’t you’ll have a wait (and with kids that would be painful). Enjoy!!!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:37 pm
Beautiful page! Great job with all of the work that you day. You inspire me!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:59 pm

Enjoy DISNEY, we just got back, it was our first. We stayed 10 days and it was exhausting but AWESOME, as my 5year old would say. Animal Kingdom is my favorite park out of the four.. Have a wonderful time, try to relax and enjoy yourself, lose yourself. It was great being a kid again. Definately check out, Tough to be a Bug (Under the Tree of Life), and the Circle of Life Show.. MUST SEE…
Say hello to Mickey..

Have a great time at Disney! We just got back on Sat. The weather was awesome. The parks are more crowded than usual due to the buy 4/get 3 deal – but still very manageable. Check out http://www.touringplans.com to plan your days in the parks without much waiting…

May 11th, 2009 at 8:24 pm

May 12th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
Disney is so much fun. I hope all of you have a great time. I love the layout you have posted. The picture is very cute also.
I bet with all the cute pictures you take at Disneyland that you will have enough for a whole scrapbook.
May 12th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
Wow, love the 2 page spread! And as a bonus, it’s a masculine combination that at times can be challenging to non-creative people like myself. Disney rocks!
May 12th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Andrea -
I love your scrapbook 2 page spread. I was thinking of doing a couple Father’s Day scrapbook pages in memory of my dad, since I can’t give him a Father’s Day card. Your layout looks like I could change the colors to make a couple mom’s memory pages too.
Enjoy Disney World! The kids will never forget their first trip to Disney, no matter how many times they go after that.
May 12th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Aaaahhhh, vacation…. We’re planning one too. Or replanning, however you look at it! We were heading back to Cancun in September but with all the fighting and the Swine Flu breakouts, we’re thinking of changing. Not sure where we’ll end up this time but we might just stick w/Cancun so we’ll see!
Disney is on our list though and we might just head there for a few days since it’s only a state away. My husband’s never been and I’ve only been there once when I was in HS so it would be nice to go back and see Mickey!
May 12th, 2009 at 9:37 pm
Love your new summer planner, it is very sweet and soft!
May 13th, 2009 at 10:24 am
