Where is the time going? Lately I’ve been feeling as though one minute it’s one day, then I close my eyes and a week has gone by. We’ve had a lot happening at our house these past few weeks – not bad per se, just life. My second son got braces on Feb. 8th and then two days later got chicken pox. Thankfully it wasn’t a bad case which I think was due to the fact that he had gotten the chicken pox immunization when he was little. So far none of the other kids have gotten them and I’m keeping my fingers croseed.
We also have a house guest for the next two weeks – a four legged house-guest that is. My brother and sister-in-law are on their way to Hawaii for a few weeks and we’ll be looking after their dog Abby. She’s adorable, and very well behaved, but our dog Ginger is jealous of her. Every time Abby goes near Papa (my grandpa) Ginger has a melt-down – jumping, barking, the whole 9 yards LOL. As you can imagine, that’s a bit challenging when it comes to filming our video tutorials.
Today I have a couple of things to share with you. First off is this Kindness Matters card. I have had that Kindness Matters stamp set since it was first released and today is the FIRST time I’ve inked it up. Now I’m wondering why – it’s a super cute set and you can make quick and easy cards with it – like today’s card. There’s not much to say about today’s card as it’s pretty straight-forward – mostly layering with a little sponging (the Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake CS). I’ve included the supplies below (all supplies are Stampin’ Up!):
- Stamps: Kindness Matters
- Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake Classic ink
- Paper: Pink Pirouette CS, Crumb Cake CS, Pink Pirouette DP
- Accessories: Artisan Kit Embellishments, Jewels Basic Rhinestone, Stampin’ Sponges, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sizzlits Large Delicate Doilies, Big Shot
The other thing I have to share is the winner of the Hearts a Flutter Painter’s Tray Tutorial which you can see the project HERE.
