Just Believe Thank you
Posted on: Wednesday, August 18th, 2010I just LOVE this set!! I think it is probably one of my favorite sets in the whole catalogue. The images are just so beautiful, so elegant and so whispy. I wanted to create something simpler than my normal type of card as far as the colouring went. I wanted something that would feature that large beautiful stamp rather than over-shadow it.
Directions:
- Take your 4 1/4″ x 11″ Early Espresso CS and score it at the 5 1/2″. Mat on to it your 4″ x 5 1/4″ Pear Pizzazz CS mat. Next mat on your 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Poppy Parade DP. Sponge the edges with some Creamy Caramel (retired).
- Take a piece of 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ Very Vanilla CS and sponge the clouds with some Marina Mist Classic ink. The cloud template is from the Artistic Etching WPS. If you do not have it, then simply make your own by drawing clouds and then cutting out.
- Take some Pear Pizzazz and sponge a bit at the base of the Very Vanilla image mat, and then stamp out the image with Early Espresso Classic ink.
- Cut out a second piece of 2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ Very Vanilla CS, and line the perimiter with Sticky Strip. Remove the backing and sprinkle with some Olive glitter to create a glitter border.
- To the back of the image, add some Stampin’ Dimensionals to the four corners, and place it within the glitter frame. Next add 4 Stampin’ Dimensionals to the corners of the image/glitter mat and stick it down to the card front.
- Stamp the Thank you on some Very Vanilla CS scraps with Early Espresso Classic ink, and then punch out the greeting with your Modern Label punch. Sponge the edges with some Creamy Caramel (retired), and then stick it to the card front using 1 Stampin’ Dimensional, and some sticky strip.
- Place a basic rhinestone to the corner of the greeting label. You are done!

Great card, Sophia! Have to agree with you that Just Believe stamp set is a favorite. It’s at the top of my wish list. The glitter really makes the card pop, but the clouds enhance the image.

Great card. I love how you did the glitter. I wonder how it would look with the Christmas mini chunky glass glitter? I may have to try it.

Your stuff is so amazing, and I learn so much from your creations. What is “Artistic Etching WPS” and where do you get it?
