Holiday Blitz Day 19: Simple Christmas Card…& another winner
Posted on: Wednesday, December 10th, 2008
Thank heavens I had a back-up project for today! I WAS going to post a new video that I’ve been working on but for some reason, even though it looks fine when I play it on my laptop, when I upload it to You Tube, it’s blurry. And here I thought I had videos all figured out! NOT! Since I’ve tried to fix it and upload it twice already and it’s taken a whopping 2 hours each time, I figured I’d set it aside for now and try and tackle it tomorrow. So, today’s project is a super quick, super easy Christmas card.
I have a lot of the large snowflakes from the Little Felt Flurries collection left, so I was trying to figure out another easy way to use them. I’d also been wanting to use my background stamp Bella Toile, so, I put together a card using both these elements.
Step 1: Stamp your Bella Toile Background stamp in silver ink onto a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White CS. Set aside to dry.
Step 2: Mat your Whisper White CS from Step 1 onto a piece of Brushed Silver CS that is 4″ x 51/4″. Take a 6″ piece of Double-Stitched Baja Breeze Ribbon and stretch it across the center of the white CS piece. Bring the ends of the ribbon around back and stick down using Snail adhesive.
Step 3: Take your felt snowflake and position it where you want it to be on your card front. Pierce a hole through the snowflake and all the way through both layers of CS using your paper piercer. Place a filigree brad in the center of the snowflake and then insert a large clear rhinestone brad through all layers and open the prongs at the back of the brushed silver CS.
Step 4: Center and mount your Brushed Silver CS onto your Baja Breeze card front.
Step 5: Stamp your greeting in the bottom left corner (I used the Merry Christmas from the Holidays and Wishes stamp set) in Black Staz On ink. You have to use Staz On, because regular ink will not stick to the silver ink.
And that’s all there is to it!

Okay, and now onto today’s winner. Drumroll please……the winner of the Holiday Blitz Day 17 blog give-away is Cheryl Sims! Congratulations! In order to draw my winners I use the website www.random.org so that the winner is randomly drawn. Cheryl, please email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com in order to claim your prize!
Cheryl will receive the pdf tutorial for this ornament-shaped gift box. As with all the templates I feature, this project is based on a custom-designed template I created to simulate the look of a Christmas Tree Ornament. The dimensions of the box are 6″ wide, 5″ high and 2″ deep. It holds a LOT of treats! The tutorial will include a supply list, dimensions, template and over 30 photos with step-by-step directions.
I’ll be drawing for another one of these tutorials, so if you would like to be entered into the draw please leave comment with the answer to today’s question in the comments section of this post:
Today’s question: Who is the hardest person to shop for on your Christmas list?

This is such a pretty card. I love the colors.
December 10th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
Just loving all these samples and ideas. You both are remarkable. Look forward to seeing your video tomorrow.
The hardest to shop for right now are my soon to be 87 year old parents. My mother collected so much stuff in previous years, there’s no room for any kind of knick-knack, nothing that would take up space. Neither she nor my dad really need anything. Both still drive and get around fine. I get flowers, clothes occasionally, a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant….wish I could think of something really special!
December 10th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
My husband, without a doubt. He loves to cook but has everything. He loves music but has tons of it. Loves to read but never has time. Loves ties but has to many, shall I go on… I honestly don’t know what I am going to get him. My mother even called and asked me what he wanted and I had no idea what to tell her.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
That’s easy… it’s my dad. He is never really happy with what I get him. It’s a gift certificate this year.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:27 pm
My grandson-in-law as I’ve not been around him much so don’t know his taste. I do get help from my granddaughter though!
December 10th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Your card is just beautiful.
I would say my husband is, cuz when he wants something he has to have it NOW. So when Christmas or his Birthday comes along it’s really tough to find something for him. Thanks for another chance.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
gorgeous card!
my husband. he always says he doesn’t need anything . . . and he really doesn’t.

December 10th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
Definitely, our son-in-law.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
My dad is hands down the toughest to buy for in my family. You ask him what he wants, whether it’s for Christmas, his birthday, or Father’s Day, and he rarely has any suggestions for us. That makes it tough. Then, when he does give us a suggestion, it’s something rather expensive that requires coordination between my brother and I, sometimes the two of us plus my mom to be able to afford it.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:39 pm
I love the colors on the card, so simple but so elegant.
My sister has to be the hardest to buy any gift for, she is one of those people if she wants something she just buys it. She is hard to find the special gift for.
December 10th, 2008 at 8:41 pm
This year I found my mom the hardest to shop for!
December 10th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
My dad. Everything I’ve gotten him in the past he already had and I didn’t know it because I only get to their home a couple of times a year. He’s a coin collector so occasionally I get him a set he doesn’t have. I agree with Amy — this year he’s getting a Home Depot gift certificate:-)
December 10th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
Beautiful card…love the use of the felt flurries.
My son-in-law is the hardest to buy for.
December 10th, 2008 at 9:42 pm
This year, our neighbors and very good friends all decided to draw names (instead of buying for every person/couple). We set a price and drew names. This was a little challenging because we will all get together to open presents. It kind of makes us all pick the “perfect gift.” It will be fun.
December 10th, 2008 at 9:49 pm
Love the card! What a great design. The hardest person to buy for in my family is my bf. It’s so hard to know what to get for him. I’m tossing up getting him an Ipod.
December 10th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
My son-in-law is the greatest, but when he gives you suggestions of things he would like, along the way he goes and purchases the item before the occasion!!!!!!
This is a beautiful card!!!!
December 10th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
love the card great colors. The hardest person to shop for would have to be husband, everytime you ask him what he would like he says “i dont really need anything this year” so every year we have to wing it. (he always loves his gifts anyway)
December 10th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
What a pretty card!
My mother-in-law is the hardest person to shop for because she never wants anything…seriously!
December 10th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
My in-laws!!!! Never know what to get them and it seems we get them the same thing every year. Ugh!!!
December 10th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
My Dad is the hardest to shop for.
December 10th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
What a lovely card!! I would have to say my In Laws and husband as they all like to say we don’t need anything.
December 10th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
My father-in-law. He has everything he wants and can buy what he doesn’t have. I think this year he’s getting Apple Butter from the Biltmore mansion in North Carolina. At least it’s something he doesn’t have and can use!
December 10th, 2008 at 10:21 pm
My daughter is the hardest because she is so fussy. LOL. Or my sister because she has everything. LOL.
December 10th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
AHHH yes the reason I do loose hair, sleep and peace during the holidays.. it would be lol my mom.. OH gosh oh gosh ohh gosh Andrea you have nooo clue.. my mom is the HARDEST person to buy for.. nothing makes her happy NOTHING.. I ask, I think,I plan, I ask again.. and still I get a oh *sigh* thanks.. but you could have got me (so and so) SO WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME!! AHHHHHH lol.. got to love her I tell you!
December 10th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
Love this card!
My husband is the hardest to buy for.
December 10th, 2008 at 10:35 pm
Thank you, Andrea and Sophia, for the fabulous ideas and projects.
The hardest person to buy for is my father … this year is the first that anyone can remember that he has actually asked for anything in particular. I think he actually got tired of my mother, sister and I bugging him for a list! LOL
December 10th, 2008 at 10:46 pm
my parents and my MIL…they don’t want or need anything…except our love and company!
But it is still nice to have some little something on Christmas day…
December 10th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Such an easy answer – my Father-in-law. We have an idea of his likes & interests, but we only see him a couple times a year since they live in the states. He has no hobbies, works all the time and he loves Starbucks Mochacino (sp?).
Love your card Andrea – very pretty!!
December 10th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
Hi Andrea,
What a beautiful card. It’s nice that it’s not red/green.
The hardest person to buy for is my uncle who’s 67. He’s single and if he needs anything he probably buys it himself. He’s harder to buy for than my 90 year old grandma.

December 10th, 2008 at 11:06 pm
Hi Andrea! I love all the projects that you have been showing – you are so sweet to share with us!
The hardest to shop for on my list is my husband – as always! If he wants something, he usually just buys it himself, then tells me to get him socks, then whines when he only gets socks! Not this year, though… this year I did some research, and teamed up with a friend of his to provide a little intel., and he will be getting the digital camera that he really wants! Woo hoo! I’m more excited about him opening his gifts than I am about the kids seeing the Santa stuff!
Anyway, love your site!

December 10th, 2008 at 11:09 pm
Very Pretty Card Andrea.
My husband is the hardest to buy for. You see he loves to shop and does a lot of it. He buys his own clothes, shoes, watches – everything and makes it hard to a gift for him.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:10 pm
The hardest people to shop for are my niece and nephews who live on Cape Cod. We only see them once a year if we are lucky and since I don’t know them well it’s hard to know what to buy them. When I ask their mother for ideas she says that she has none. It gets even harder as they grow older. I end up getting them gift cards which they probably like but I wish I could find something more personal.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
Probably my husband. We are both retired & we both just buy what we want when we want it! Luckily, he has become an avid reader & keeps his Amazon list up to date so we can pick books for him.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
I too, love today’s idea. It’s so nice to see something for the holiday that is different than red and green.
Every year the difficult person to buy for changes … this year it’s my husband. He’s 54 and has spent the last 15 years with arthritis – so many of his hobbies have had to be abandoned. But I’m not giving up – I know there’s something out there, just as unique and special as he is.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:12 pm
Andrea, thanks for the great card idea.
My husband is the hardest one for me to shop for. I enjoy finding gifts for my sister.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:17 pm
Hands down, my husband! He NEVER says what he wants. It’s always a guessing game.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:28 pm
What a pretty card! By far, I’d say my husband is the hardest. I usually get him his prerequisite jeans, he knows he can count on those each year. But, I really have a hard time with him. He loves computer stuff, but I don’t know what goes where and does what so I am clueless! I do ok, but its hard.
December 10th, 2008 at 11:32 pm
I think my brother is the hardest person on my list this year! He is 16 and has everything he could need/want – other people it is easy to make something unique and homemade; but for a boy teenager I am at a loss!
This is my first time at your blog, it is a wonderful inspiration!
December 10th, 2008 at 11:35 pm
Love the card. I hate shopping (unless it’s stamping/scrapping), so pretty much everyone is hard for me.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am
beautiful yet simple card.
generally my husband is pretty difficult to shop for.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:07 am
Love the colors – very pretty card! My dad is thee hardest and my hubby is a close second!!!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:16 am
My father-in-law is the hardest to shop for.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:34 am
My parents by far, are the hardest to shop for. I just hate giving gift certificates, they seem so impersonal. Cute Xmas card!!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:34 am
The hardest people to shop for is my parents. I don’t know what it is but I have to dig deep to think of the right gift.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:42 am
The hardest person is my mom. She has everything she needs and doesn’t want anything else. Mary
December 11th, 2008 at 12:45 am
My Mother!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:50 am
Hardest person to buy for this year and every year is my son who is extremely picky and never likes what I buy. I keep trying!!
Thanks again for the beautiful things.
December 11th, 2008 at 1:10 am
My FIL is by far the hardest person on our list to shop for. We thought we knew what to get for him this year and discovered that my MIL had already bought it for his gift.
I like your card. I made a card with a snowflake on it and couldn’t figure out what to put in the center of the snowflake. You gave me a good idea. : ) Thanks for the idea and for the great Holiday Blitz you’re having.
December 11th, 2008 at 1:11 am
I just found your Holiday Blitz and will have to read the older posts to see your wonderful projects. The hardest person to buy for is one of my sons who never gives me any ideas and has definite opinions on what he likes.
December 11th, 2008 at 1:36 am
MY HUSBAND!! He and I are so much alike in the fact that if we want something we just go out and get it – I can always give him ideas but he don’t give me any back – he is truely the hardest person on my list to buy for but this year I found it easy because I got him hockey tickets.
Thanks for letting me playalong on such a great give away
December 11th, 2008 at 2:09 am
My dad…..arrrggghhh! He is picky when it comes to clothes and I have NO clue what size to get him! So I thought a gift card would be great……NOT…he won’t get off the couch to use it LOL If I give him money then he will use it on a bill rather than use it toward that little something he’s been wanting. Such a pain in the you know what!! …….but I love him
December 11th, 2008 at 2:32 am
Pretty card! I haven’t used my felt flurries yet so that gives me some ideas. Thanks!
I think my MIL is usually the hardest to buy for, but she isn’t this year as she gave us a wish list to buy from. I like getting things for people that they want
December 11th, 2008 at 3:24 am
First one that comes to mind is my grandparents. It’s gotten a little easier since I had my daughter 3 years ago – now I give them some sort of thing from her or about her. Grandma has a 6×6 brag book of Cassy and I just add to it every year.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:16 am
Definitely, my father-in-law!
December 11th, 2008 at 4:26 am
The hardest person to buy a gift for is my father. Now that my daughter is getting older, I’ll just have her make a little something for him, and he’ll love it more than anything I could buy at a store.
December 11th, 2008 at 5:28 am
Beautiful card!!!Love the colors !
My sister is the hardest to buy for.
December 11th, 2008 at 6:21 am
My dad is the hardest to buy for. Takes all the fun out of sharing with him if you ask me.
Merry Christmas!
December 11th, 2008 at 7:48 am
My husband and my daughter are tied for the hardest to buy for. May daughter is almost 25 and I want to get her something special but can’t think of anything. Neither my husband nor I need anything so he’s difficult too.
December 11th, 2008 at 7:57 am
That is actually easy, my Dad is by far the hardest guy in the world to shop for!
It’s a good life!
Terri E.
December 11th, 2008 at 8:24 am
The card is so elegant looking!
My dad is definitely the hardest to buy for. He always buys what we knew he would like before Christmas gets here, and he never is impressed with anything, so we get him gift certificates for tools. And he always looks dissappointed because he didn’t get a gift to open.

December 11th, 2008 at 8:27 am
My youngest daughter is undoubtedly the hardest person to buy for. She is just very picking about what she likes/dislikes. I’m not one who favor’s gift cards, so that makes it even more difficult.
Very pretty card, yet very simple.
December 11th, 2008 at 8:27 am
My dad, hands down! Although this year we are getting my parents “gifts” through Samaratin’s purse’s website.
On the other hand, my four year old daughter is the easiest. Get her anything pink w/princesses on it and she’s in heaven. This year she wants a princess hammer, a princess ladder, and a princess telescope. Where does she get these ideas?!?!?!
Well, she’s getting a princess “golf” set instead! She’ll be thrilled!
December 11th, 2008 at 8:41 am
Love the card so simple yet elegant!! thanks for sharing……
December 11th, 2008 at 8:49 am
Definitely my dad. What do you get someone who has everything??? A lottery ticket!
December 11th, 2008 at 8:55 am
My husband, hands down!
December 11th, 2008 at 9:12 am
My husband, of course!!! OMG this is soooo hard to find something for him!!!!!
December 11th, 2008 at 9:37 am
By far I would say my brother-in-law. He’s single and lives at home. He buys everything he wants so I never know what we should get him.
December 11th, 2008 at 9:42 am
The hardest person to shop for is my dad. He already has so much and he never has any ideas to give anyone. This year I am decorating a wooden clock for him. That way I know he dosn’t have it since it is one of a kind.
December 11th, 2008 at 9:46 am
Great card!
Shopping for my grown daugheter is hard. Her birthday is the 15th and that’s so close to Christmas. Now that means shopping for TWO occasions….and she has everything.
December 11th, 2008 at 9:59 am
by far the hardest person to shop for is my husband…just this week he bought 2 computer games that he liked only i found out that night that our oldest son already had purchased it for him for christmas…my husband is the kind of guy that if he sees it he buys it because “it might not be there tomorrow”…
December 11th, 2008 at 10:03 am
By far it is my parents. They buy themselves what they want and need. Usually has to be something out of the ordinary. Last year we bought them a Wii system. They love it.
December 11th, 2008 at 10:13 am
My husband is by far the hardest. loving all the ideas…thanks for sharing.
December 11th, 2008 at 10:24 am
My Dad – hands-down! We used to shop for clothes for him because he hates to shop and that’s the only thing we could think of, but a few years ago, he put a ban on clothes so we’ve been struggling with gift ideas ever since.
Two years ago, we bought him an exercise ball. That was a bust. Last year, we got him ticket for the Elvis Story show. My aunt was the one who ended up with the tickets instead.
It’s not like I can give him a box of stationary or handmade cards, so I am always at such a loss for ideas.

December 11th, 2008 at 10:27 am
I’m going to break the mold and say one of my 6 year old twins usually. This year she was easy to buy for and we are having trouble with the neices and nephew but it’s because all the ideas we were given them their parents seem to be buying them. Oh well, they can stand in the return lines. Love the tut, can’t wait to see the video.
December 11th, 2008 at 10:43 am
Hardest person for me to shop for is my nephews. They grow so fast, I don’t see them all the time, and their interest change. I love them sooooo much and want the perfect gift.
You card is incredible. Your customers are so lucky to have you as their Demo! Keep up the great work and Thank you! kt
December 11th, 2008 at 10:58 am
Andrea;
The person/people that I find the hardest to shop for are our grandparents! What do you buy for 80 something year old people who have everything they need?
Angela
December 11th, 2008 at 11:08 am
I love the card you posted today!
By far my dad is the hardest to shop for. Never needs or wants anything! It makes it a real challenge, but that’s what makes it fun!
December 11th, 2008 at 11:18 am
By far the hardest one to buy for is my husband. He always says don’t bother buying m3e anything so I have to try to be creative.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:29 am
It is definately my husband! All the things he wants are in the $75 to $100 range and are things that I don’t know where to get. I usually have to buy them on-line. He likes computer and dirt bike items and electronic stuff. I usually have to ask him for a list or ask my dad or brother.

December 11th, 2008 at 11:36 am
This is a beautiful card. I love that background stamp.
The hardest person on my Christmas list is my husband. He doesn’t need anything but he is such a big kid at Christmas he deserves something special.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
What a great project! I love all your creations.
Boy, i honestly can’t just pick one person that shoppping has been hard for this year, it’s everyone i’m having trouble with! My kids, have more than they need – and their wish list is as long as it is over priced. My husband, well let’s just say, i hate shopping in the tool section — and as the grand-parents, what is there that they need/want at their age, they have what their heart desires.
Thanks for the chance!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
this is a wonderful celebration, my hubby is the hardest as he is very easy going but is content with so little it is hard to surprise him.Eileen
December 11th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
Hardest person to buy for? Either my father-in-law, who is a techie-gadget guy, but has them all, and who lives in another country, or my dad’s wife, who is a complete stranger to me … even though they live 2 hours away.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
I love the card with the felt flurry snowflake on it! It’s simple, but very elegant… right up my alley.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:41 pm
I love the card with the felt flurry snowflake on it! It’s simple, but very elegant… right up my alley.
hardest person to buy for? My husband, because he keeps saying he doesn’t want anything.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
Love your projects and today’s card is so beautiful. Thanks for your creativity I have been able to get some projects done. Thanks.
The hardest person to buy for would have to be my hubby… he never wants anything. Won’t give me a wishlist or anything and says just spend the money on the kids. He is so selfless. I love him for that.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
Cute card!
Usually the hardest person to shop for is my husband. The things he really wants and likes are either things I know nothing about (tools)or really expensive (big ticket items like a new TV or a swim platform for our boat!). especially with the economy the way it is he will be getting neither! Good thing he’s a good sport and will be just as smiling and enthusiastic when he opens up a package of socks!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
December 11th, 2008 at 12:53 pm
The hardest person to buy for in my family are my brothers. I guess I just don’t know them very well anymore. When they were younger I could get them the same type of gift (Painball Guns) and they could play together. Now they are grown up and so it’s harder to buy for them.

Oh the back up card is lovely! TFS
the hardest person to buy for is my mother in law and a close second is my sister in law
thanks
December 11th, 2008 at 12:59 pm
My husband. He can’t wait to get whatever he needs so he doesn’t have much on his “list.”
December 11th, 2008 at 1:04 pm
MEN!
I find my brother and husband hard, because I feel that I always get them the same thing each year. My brother is nothing but books. My husband wants music OR he wants big ticket items we can’t afford.
December 11th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Cute card. My husband has always been the hardest to shop for.

December 11th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
My MIL is the hardest. At 86 she is really trying to pare down things that require attention and upkeep. She loves to give gifts to others so we love to have something fun and special for her but it is not easy!
December 11th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
This is so pretty. I really like the colors. Hugs
December 11th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
the hardest person to shop for is parents. they seem to have everything.
December 11th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
My MOM! She likes very specific things. She does not like what nots, jewlery, picky about the books she reads. She is just hard.
Love the card.
December 11th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Gorgeous card!!
I actually have two hard people – my parents! This year we bought flying lessons for my Mom in a glider plane – she will love it! I find that if I purchase things that they can do – they love it. Things they are never crazy about. Have a great day!
December 11th, 2008 at 3:06 pm
My boyfriend and my dad are the hardest people to shop for.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:04 pm
That is such a pretty card. Love the simplicity and the beauty of it.
My in-laws are usually pretty hard to shop for, as is my husband. Although for him I can fall back on new jeans/clothes and get by and for my in-laws there are always pictures of my kids!!
December 11th, 2008 at 4:08 pm
My husband for sure. He is a man of little means and when he does need something he just buys it.
Say, since you live in Canada….if you know the guys in the band RUSH maybe you could hook me up with them for Christmas. Thats his favorite group. He would never expect that for Christmas! LOL!!!
Thanks for your projects, they are all just great! Merry Christmas.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
I love the card. The hardest person to shop for is my parents. They never need anything.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Hi. The hardest person to buy for on my Crristmas list is my mother because she always seems to buy the gift I want to get her before I can buy it for her.
December 11th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
The hardest person to shop for has to be my 93 year old mother-in-law. She doesn’t need anything! She still lives an independent life in a small apartment in a retirement community.

well, that’s easy to answer…everyone else! The in-laws,my brother, my husband…the list goes on!

The hardest by far is my DH. Every year he says not to buy him anything. But I cannot abide by that. I usually end up getting him some clothes, but try to find a little something that I know he’d like. Having a hard time this year. Would really like to wow and suprise him with something!
And I love this card Andrea! I would love to know what everyone uses to take their videos with……I have a digital camera that takes videos, but I don’t think that is how you do a tutorial. What do you use?

My MIL! She has everything and is always saying she doesn’t *need* anything. That’s what a gift should be! If I *need* a blowdryer, I’ll go buy one. No one *needs* a diamond bracelet. But it makes a pretty nice gift!
Great card BTW!

My oldest son who is now 11. He’s harder this year because he only wanted 2 things and of course those things are a little pricey…can’t wait until next year! LOL!

All the men in my life! My DH,Dad,nephews, brother-in-laws, FIL, you name it and they are ALL hard to shop for. They all either have too expensive of a hobby to buy for or just say they don’t need anything. UGH! thanks for a chance to win!

I would have to say my one son is difficult to buy for. He lives far away from me and I don’t always know what would be a good gift for him. Plus he is on the conservative side and would rather save a tree than have me wrap a gift so it does make it difficult to send him something. Hey thanks for the great blog, ideas and give away!

What a pretty card! The hardest person for me to SHOP for is my Dad – so to solve that, I make him something. A scrapbook page in a frame, a memory book, something. And he always loves the things I make him – tears usually flow.

I love your card, and I love the fact that it’s so simple to make.
The person I have the hardest time buying for is my brother – he never tells me what he wants and he already has everything

My husband is the hardest to buy for. he prefers to buy his own clothes thought often takes my advice when shopping. He wears no jewlery and colognes. Avid reader but no hobbies.

I love this card! Now I wish I had the Bella Toile background in my collection.
My husband and my son are the hardest. Neither one wants anything. In fact, my son recently told me to by something for myself on his birthday. What a kid! (well, he’s 28 so not technically a kid anymore).

EVERYONE! Face it, after so many years we all pretty much have what we want and how many of us really wait for the holidays for that “I gotta have it” item? Now, if it’s a gift for me it’s soooo easy…cash for my Stampin’ Up! habit

My Dad is the hardest person in my family to shop for. He’s got everything he wants, so I make him Cowboy themed Christmas cards for him to send out to his friends and give them to him early.

My Aunt…she has everything…so I try to make her something…a set of cards…etc.

The hardest to buy for is always my 90 yr old grandma and right after that is my mom who has everything or buys what she wants when she wants it.

The hardest person on my list…my hubby and my parents would come in a close 2nd/3rd for that honor. Shopping for all 3 of them is next to impossible each year.

Without a doubt….my mother-in-law. Simply impossible to shop for. Every year it is the very last gift we buy, and usually on Christmas Eve we are buying it.

Hey, I really like this card. It’s a great idea for all my felt flurries I have. Thanks!

Love the products you used on this card. . The hardest person to buy for is my mother. Because she lives in a small space, there is no room for “things”. So I usually give her postage stamps, car wash tokens, DQ and McD coupons, etc.

Definately the men in my life! My boyfriend, brother, and my dad! They all say they don’t care what I get them!
