Guess What? I’m on Stampin’ Up!’s newest audio training!

Posted on: Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

How cool is that?  Today Stampin’ Up! released their newest audio training: Making Classes & Clubs a Part of your Business, and I’m thrilled and honored to say that I was one of two demonstrators featured on this call.  Here’s what Stampin’ Up! says about it "Looking for a way to boost sales when workshops aren’t enough? You can start a club or teach a new class to get things moving again. Don’t know where to start? No problem! Listen to this new audio training to learn to incorporate clubs and classes in your business and learn how to get the most out of your events. You’ll find this new training, featuring Patty Bennett, Andrea Walford, and Bonnie Thurber, on the Audio Training page on the Demonstrator Web Site"

Stampin’ Up! called last week to talk to me about my classes and clubs and then at the end of the call, invited me to be a part of the audio training to share my experiences with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. I was thrilled and honored, and of course I couldn’t say "YES!" fast enough!  I didn’t want to say anything earlier because I didn’t want to jinx myself.  I was afraid I’d wake up and find out it was all a dream *lol*

The other demonstrator on the class was super talented Patty Bennett.  Although I’ve "met" Patty online, I’d never had the chance to talk to her. It was a real honor to be a part of the same call and to hear about and learn from how she runs her events as well.  For those of you that may not know Patty, she is a US demonstrator, a Founder’s Circle Achiever and was chosen to be a part of Stampin’ Up!’s Advisory Council.  You can visit her blog here.

So if you’re a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I hope you take a minute to download and listen to the audio training.  I’d love your feedback.  If you have any comments after you listen to it, I’d love you to come back here and leave a comment on this post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with my Template Thursday post with a different take on the oh-so-popular bag in a box.  I call it my "purse in a box"

Andrea, how in the world do you manage to raise 5 children, move and do this. My hat is off to you.

I just finished listening to it and was writing down notes. :) Loved the advice and see if I can put some of what I heard in practice.

I just listened and I love how you deal with Sale-A-Bration with your clubs! I would love to get clubs going, but have been focusing on Classes.
Thanks for the reminder to value our time too! I need to hear that over and over again. Great job! Thanks again for more useful information!

Congrats Andrea! If anyone deserves to be featured for classes and clubs, it’s you!

I admire how you’re able to do so much & was thrilled to hear your advice this morning! I haven’t had much luck w/clubs (only 1 member, who would only commit to $15/mo for 10 mos), but I want to try it your way. How do I start w/just one person (and myself, of course)? Do they become the hostess for the last month of their commitment? Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom & experience!

Congratulations Andrea!!! I have not had a chance to listen to the audio yet but I am sure there will be a lot of information with both you and Patti on there!!!!

Congratulations, Andrea! I listened to it last night and it was superb. I learned a lot from both you and Patty. Thank you for sharing with us.

Andrea, that’s just WAY COOL! I have three blogs that I visit every day – yours, Patty’s, and Corinne Summerville’s (aka Roxy). I love everything you ladies do and I think it’s great that SU! recognizes your fabulous talent. Awesome!
