Flower Friend Card
Posted on: Wednesday, August 24th, 2011Thank you all so much for the fabulous tips about New York. As each day passes I’m getting more and more excited! Of course I’m also kind of stressed because there is so much to think about and so much to get ready. Being self-employed of course, there is also the stress of making sure that everything that needs to get done ahead of time is ready to go. Apparently the “boutique” hotel we are staying at has terrible internet connection – I guess that’s what happens when you book last minute (as in last week) – all the really good places are gone LOL. That means that to stay connected we’ll need to either find an internet cafe or a Starbucks – I’d prefer the Starbucks!
Today’s card is one that was created by Tracy – one of the fabulous girls on my Sunny Stampin’ Team
! This is another project that was featured in the Paper Crafter’s Library within the last few weeks. It’s probably one of my favourite cards that Tracy’s made because it features some of my favorite elements: newsprint paper, machine-stitching and rhinestones, and of course one of my favourite punches – Stampin’ Up!’s Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch.
If you haven’t already, don’t forget to enter into our draw for the 2012 Calendar and Note Pad tins – and if you’re interested, don’t forget to pre-order your bundles. All the information is in this post.
At this point in time, I’m only planning on continuing the pre-order until Sept. 12th and they are due to ship out starting the week of Sept. 19th. When I place my order with the printer, I’ll probably order a few extra but not huge amounts since they are time sensitive (given that they are dated). Once they are gone, they’ll be gone until 2013.

Great card! The colours are so soft. I like the machine stitching too… I need to get out my machine and play!

Oh! I really like this one!! So creative. I’ve never thought of using newspaper. You could use pages of a book too. My daughter is making a “book safe” and I could use the pieces that she is cutting out of the middle!
