Don’t miss out on the first ever ONLINE Valentine’s Class brought to you by the Sunny Stampin’ Classroom!

Posted on: Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

We all love Valentine’s.  We love being romanced and given flowers.  We love being made to feel like we are the most special people in the world.  But how often do we leave it to our partners, to make the arrangements and make the first moves, only to end up disappointed?  This year, why don’t you take the romance into your own hands, and show your spouse why he is the most important person in the world to you?  Shower him with affection and attention, and even more importantly, do it with no expectation of return.  See if he doesn’t end this holiday thinking that he has the most amazing woman in the world!

So why have we decided to concentrate on your spouse?  As women and especially as moms we have so many pressing demands on our time that it’s easy to start taking our spouse for granted. Have you ever heard the expression ”the squeaky wheel gets the grease?” As I’m sure those of you with kids know, they can be pretty “squeaky”! So can piles of laundry, or how about a demanding boss and tight deadlines? By the time we finish “greasing” all these wheels, we’re often so pooped that the one of the most important “wheels” of all, gets missed.  We strongly believe that it’s important to give our spouses the priority they deserve – BEFORE the kids, BEFORE the job, BEFORE the household… after all, without a strong partnership in marriage, everything else will be less strong in contrast.

So here is what we decided to do. We are hosting a one-week ONLINE Valentine’s class. Yes you read that right. After well over a year of thought and planning we’ve finally decided to take the plunge and launch the Sunny Stampin’ Classroom!

During the online class, each day for 5 days, we are going to share with you an EXCLUSIVE project which is meant to express your love to your spouse in many different ways.  From the fun, to the romantic, to the adult.  Yup you heard us!  We have projects to run a love campaigne. Each project was carefully designed to be unique, and also to  be of a high standard of quality.  Remember our 12 Weeks of Christmas?  Well we’ve kicked it up a notch! Our projects feature unique templates and designs and integrate different techniques that will help you take your crafting to a whole new level!

Intrigued?  We sure hope so.  During each of the 5 days of the class we will release a different project.  Each project will include a video tutorial showing exactly how the project was made, as well as a downloadable pdf handout with step-by-step written instructions. But that’s not all…what makes this online class so fun, and so different from our regular Stamp Classes by Email and Class planners is the whole community aspect. The classroom includes a forum area where you can discuss with us each project, a gallery where you can upload your work to share with others, as well the opportunity for live chats.  So what exactly will you get?

  • 5 unique projects which will be shown for 5 consecutive days.  This will give you plenty of time to gather your materials & make the projects in time for Valentine’s, and not overwhelm you.  Keep in mind however that you don’t HAVE to use the same supplies we do – you can simply use whatever is in your stash!
  • All projects will have a video tutorial, as well as a PDF handout with step-by-step written instructions on how to re-create the projects.
  • Project gallery to share your own take on the projects
  • A forum where you can discuss each project with us and ask any related questions.
  • The chat room will be open 24/7 so that you can chat with whoever is online at the time – we will be hosting 2 live one hour chats at set times during the week.
  • Don’t have the time to make the projects right when we do? No worries! The classroom will remain open for 1 month after the end of the class, so you’ll have plenty of time to watch the videos and download the handouts. That way you stamp when YOU want, WHERE you want.
  • All projects can be altered to use with children also.

The class starts on Monday, January 18th and runs until Friday, January 22nd. Each day’s project will be posted first thing in the morning.  Once you’ve registered for the class, keep your eye on your email inbox because you will be receiving an invitation to join the classroom mid-week next week. Sign up by Tuesday, Jan 12th and receive the Early Bird price of $19.95.  After that the price will increase to $24.97

Early Bird Price: $19.95  (until Jan 12th)

* Everyone who signs up by Tues. Jan 12th will be entered into a draw where we will be giving away a free class registration for the February online class!

Over the next few days we’ll be sharing a few more sneak peeks of the projects with you!

Stamped Blessings,

P.S. Because this is the first full week in the New Year and our first week back after a 2 week absence we have a lot of “housekeeping” stuff to get caught up on & share with you – i.e. info about upcoming classes & Stampin’ Up! promotions – which we will be “sprinkling” throughout our posts this week. Starting tomorrow we’ll have our first project (and be back to our video tutorials) and of course this week we’ll be sharing some more sneak peeks of the online Valentine’s class with you.

ooh la la, very cool!

I am SO excited about this! I agree that while our husband’s deserve (and the Bible demands that they receive) the #1 spot in our lives that often they don’t. Thank you for the reminder and I look forward to the class!

3

I am also very excited about this, I hate to admit it but it usually ends up being this way that my husband is the last on my “to-do” list and it shouldn’t be that way at all. It’s amazing what four kids of your own, plus taking care of 8 other children (all 12 of them under the age of 8) will take and do to you. I am very excited about this class, because I need to show him just how important he is to me. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO ALL OF US.

wow! I was just looking on line yesterday about what I can do for my husband. He is very much loved but never really shown that. All special holidays come & go & he is always last on my list to do something special & then it’s too late so he gets the silly things. I told my self I was going to start working on it now & then look what I find on your site. Can you give us a supply list so I can order the supplies & have them ready to go when the classes start? Can you give us ideas of what we will be making like a card, scrapbook page candy holder…

Thanks For Sharing
