Letters From Santa Class & A Blog Give-Away

Posted: Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 | Comments (463)

With all the excitement of Back to School winding down, it seems as though for many of us our thoughts are turning towards Christmas.  For this month we’ve created a Christmas Class featuring the Letters From Santa patterned paper and the Merry and Type stamp set from Stampin’ Up!. As part of this class you’ll learn how to create these four cards and a coordinating card basket.

As I do each month, I am offering two versions – a Stamp Class by Email version which is a step-by-step photo tutorial with over 80 full color photos, full supply list, a cutting guide and template for the box.

The Class Planner version for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators includes the Stamp Class by Email tutorial (called the Class to Go Handout) as well as all the additional materials you need to offer it as a class to your own customers. New this month – we’ve changed the format of the customer handout. We’ve created a separate pdf handout for EACH of the projects – that way you can pick and choose which ones you want to offer as part of a class, or maybe as a Make and Take for a workshop or open house.

Don’t have the time or space to offer traditional classes? Why not offer it as a kit to go?  OR, did you know that you can use the Class to Go Handout as a purchasing incentive to your customers?  When they place a $50 or more order of Stampin’ Up! product from YOU, you can give them this fabulous tutorial for free?  But wait….there’s more….

As part of either the Stamp Class by Email AND the Class Planner you receive access to a private web page – and this month we have a video showing you how to make the card shawl.   When you order the Class Planner version, you also receive the video embed code so that you can embed the video on your own blog and offer it as a bonus to your customers which took the class or received the tutorial as a gift with purchase?

There are so many different ways that demonstrators use my planners, yet regardless of which way they choose to use it, the one thing I hear over and over again is what a benefit they have been to their business.  Are you interested in adding more to your business?  You can purchase the class planner HERE.

If you are not a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, but you’d like to learn how to make these projects then you can purchase the Stamp Class by Email version HERE.

*Please note, we are now offering the videos from this class to Paper Crafter’s Library subscribers as well as a written pdf on how to make the card basket. All other handouts – including the step-by-step photo tutorial, and features are remaining exclusive to the class planner/stamp class by email and will NOT be placed in Paper Crafter’s Library*

And now for a give-away! On Tuesday, September 20th, Friday, September 23rd,  5 lucky winners will receive the Letters From Santa class (supplies not included). All you have to do to enter is leave a comment in the comments section of this post.  If you’ve never left a comment before all you have to do is to click on the title of the post, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your comment in the comment box. Sometimes comments may take a little while to appear.

30 Winners Announced For the Flower Garden Tutorial

Posted: Monday, August 15th, 2011 | Comments (23)

I don’t know about you guys, but for me, it seems that every single summer my best “work” intentions seem to get de-railed.  I was browsing our blog this morning and was struck by how sparse our posts have been, pretty much since the end of June.  It wasn’t until I stopped and thought about it that I realized why – summer.  No matter how hard I try, with the kids home it’s almost impossible to have a consistent and regular schedule. I’ve pretty much given up LOL.  I do have to say though, I’ve had one of the best summers ever with my family.  We’ve had a lot of family time – not just with my immediate family (i.e. husband and kids), but also with my extended family – my sister and her family and my parents.  While I’m looking forward to September and “back to school” so that I can get back to my normal work schedule, I’m also kind of sad to see summer end.

Anyways, today I wanted to announce the winners of the Flower Garden Class.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful feedback!  How many of you took the time to comment just blew me away! I really appreciate hearing from you guys as it always puts a smile on my face – especially when I’m having my “down” days – which I seem to be having a lot of recently.

In fact you guys overwhelmed me SO much that instead of 5 winners, I decided to choose 10 winners.  But then, after reading all your comments, I didn’t feel like I could only pick 10, so I picked another 20 “bonus” winners.

If your name was drawn, please email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com and put “Flower Garden Class Blog Winner” in the subject line.  Then make sure you mention whether you would like the Stamp Class by Email version or the Class Planner version.

I used the random integer generator on www.random.org to draw the first 10 winners.  The numbers represent the comment #:

So here are the first 10 winners picked using Random.org:

The next 20 winners, I picked because something in their comment spoke to me and I felt like blessing them with a free tutorial.

In case you missed it, if you are one of the winners, please email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com and put “Flower Garden Class Blog Winner” in the subject line. Then be sure to specify whether you want the class planner version for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, or the Stamp Class by Email version.  If you weren’t a winner and you are interested in purchasing the class you can buy the class planner HERE, and the Stamp Class by Email HERE.

Whenever I think of summer I think of blue skies and lots and lots of flowers. That’s why the Paisley Petals DP was the perfect choice for this month’s Flower Garden Class Planner and Stamp Class by Email. Happy Independence Day to ALL of my American Friends!  I also hope all my Canadian friends had a wonderful Canada Day on July 1st!  We (myself and my family as well as Soph and her family) spent the weekend visiting our family in Ottawa and celebrating our younger sister’s engagement.  Her and her fiance are such a beautiful couple!

Although I didn’t have time to finish a project to share with you all, I did want to take a minute to pop in and announce the winners of the Delicate Doilies One Sheet Wonder Class.

Before I do so, I want to thank everyone of you that took a moment to stop by and leave a comment.  It always makes our day to hear from you guys!

I have to tell you, this is always the hardest part of the month for me as I always want to be able to gift each and every one of you with the tutorial (read on for news about a surprise at the end of the post though)…..BUT

Since this is a weekend of celebration I did decided to draw 10 winners instead of the usual 5.

Andrea this is my first time to post on a blog. I watch all of your videos and have visited your webpage. I have learned a great deal from both places. I would love to learn about the onesheet wonder technique. I would also love to win the class, but nevertheless I wanted to thank you for your videos and webpage instructions. I look forward to receiving my new punch so I can try out the blossom card. Thanks again for sharing your creativite techniques.

What I love most about your planners is that they entice me to buy products that I probably would have never considered. Your planners are so descriptive and easy to follow and I have learned so many techniques from using them that I probably would have never really known. I am guessing your brain is creating all the time because you keep the ideas coming and they are all awesome. Thanks for all that you and Sophia do!

If you are one of the lucky winners please email me at andrea@sunnystampin.com and be sure to put “Delicate Doilies Blog Winner” in the subject line.  In the body of the email please specify whether you would like the Stamp Class by Email version OR the Class Planner version for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.  If you already purchased this class then please let me know and select another tutorial or planner of your choice from either www.sunnystampinstore.com or www.demotodemo.com

Okay, and now for the SURPRISE….

Well, actually, I’m just building anticipation for the surprise.  Although I guess since I’m going to tell, you it’s not much of a surprise…but when it happens, pretend you’re surprised anyways okay?

Remember earlier in the post when I told you I wished I could gift ALL of you with the planner?  Well, I WILL be gifting all of you with a brand-new EXCLUSIVE planner which I’ll be releasing mid-July…..and I have to tell you – it’s stinkin’ cute – I absolutely LOVE it!  Sooooooo, stay tuned for the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT on how you can receive your free gift!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a project – and hopefully a free video and handout for you all!
