Gearing Up for Valentine’s Day….& a Give-Away

Posted on: Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

With Christmas just barely over a week away I know most of us have been focused on last minute preparations, but did you know that once we hit the New Year, Valentine’s is only 6 weeks away? Although it may not seem pressing right now when there are other things to worry about, if you leave your Valentine’s planning until the last minute, you may end up scrambling.

Whether you are planning on making Valentine’s projects just for yourself, or you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator planning to offer classes (especially if you’re an SU demo offering classes), it’s a good idea to start getting a jump start on things.  I certainly have, and that’s what I wanted to share with you today.  Whether you are looking for a great kit to make for yourself or you’re looking for a great class to offer to your customers, I have it all….

A Happy Heart Stamp Class by Email & Class Planner

happyheartCPS

Love Sparkles Memories Your Way Album

LoveSparklesAlbumClosed

lovesparklesalbuminsideMED

This is a little album that packs a lot of punch.  The outer dimensions of the album are 6 1/2″ x 7″ – but inside it is perfectly sized to hold 6″ x 6″ pages – in fact, it has 21 page layouts! Best of all, it’s not just limited to Valentine’s Day.  As you can see from the snapshot of the inside, this is a little album that I’ve dedicated to one of my sons.

When you order the Memories Your way: Love Sparkles Mini Scrapbook Album  you will receive a finished album and all the embellishments you need to decorate it YOUR way. As with the other Memories Your Way kits, because this is a finished product, this is available for purchase worldwide.  The kit includes the album and embellishments, your kit will also include printed instructions & a DVD showing you how this album was made from scratch, in case you want to make more. I’m offering this kit for a limited tme at a special price of $32.95 + shipping – that’s $4 off the regular price (don’t forget we have flat rate shipping – one price, regardless of how many kits you order).  Because I have been asked by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators if you can offer this as a class, the answer is yes, and I have put together a Demonstrator Guide for any demonstrators that want to offer it as a class. Please note that I’m not offering retroactive refunds for albums purchased prior to Saturday, Dec. 12th.

A Blog Give-Away

Okay, and now on to the part you’ve all been waiting for….I am going to give away the “A Happy Heart” AND the Love Sparkles Stamp Class by Email or Class Planner (winner’s choice) to 5 lucky winners.  All you have to do to enter this draw is to answer this question: “What are your favourite kinds of Valentine’s projects to make? or “What kinds of Valentine’s project ideas would you like to see on our blog” and leave your answer in the in the comments section of this post (I had originally simply asked for a comment, so if you already left a regular comment without answering this question don’t worry about it. I just figured this might be a good opportunity to get some project ideas for the blog for the new year!).

I will be announcing the winners on Friday! If your name is drawn and you have already purchased one of those products then you can either choose a different class or ask for a refund. Good Luck!

What are your favourite kinds of Valentine’s projects to make? What kinds of Valentine’s project ideas would you like to see on our blog?

I actually only ever make one Valentine’s card, and that’s for my hubby. Otherwise, I end up buying little Valentine’s cards (isn’t that bad?)!

12

13

I love making the valentines for my daughter’s class. Last year it was the sour cream holders for candy. We haven’t figured out what to do for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Debra

Catherine

20

Hi Ladies!
These are so super cute as usual! Thanks for the chance to win and I hope you and your families have a fabulous Christmas!
Hugs,

21

i am very curious about your window gable box (and hopeful that it doesn’t require the Big Shot to make it)! one thing i’d like to see is what you and sophia would use the new glassine bags from the occasions mini for.

22

I love this! I was just telling another demonstrator about scheduling our valentine’s day classes and this would be perfect!

23

My fav Valentine projects are little containers of some sort I can make for my co-workers and friends – usually something that I fill with Hershey Kisses…..I usually have to buy double the amount of Kisses ’cause they mysteriously disappear! :)

Merry Christmas to you and your family – thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas with us!

24

I love a 3D projects.
Merry Christmas to you!!!

25

I love to make little love notes to put in those Target mailboxes. So cute and just perfect for Valentine’s Day!

26

I love working with my kids to create valentines for their classmates. It’s so fun to see them take the time to make them special. Thanks for a chance to win, Andrea! These planners are amazing, as usual.

27

Your projects are beautiful.

I would like to see quick and easy projects, that can be
used for a group. Not necessarily for children but candy
can be involved.lol.
One of the problems I have is needing one certain color of
brad or button to match the project. I can either order
more(leaving me with lots of unused accessories) or trying
to find something to match.

28

I have been looking for something for V Day to do for my monthly stamp group. This will be perfect!!
Oh I received my “Christmas Jingle Album” LOVE it!! Thank you!!

29

OMG i love these cards! beautiful!

30

I love making Valentines cards with my son for him to give to his classmates. That was my favorite part of Valentines Day when I was a kid and now I get to relive it through him :)

31

As I typically don’t make a lot of Valentine projects or cards I’d love to see some items that are versatile and can be used for other occasions such as Mother’s Day and Weddings! Always enjoy seeing your inspiring work!

32

I would love a project for husbands/significant others…I’m always at a loss on those!

33

Oh My Gosh! I was just thinking about gearing up for Valentine’s Day and you come out with these gorgeous projects! My favorite project would be cards! Husband, kids, family and friends. Next, I would like to see more scrapbooking ideas. I do appreciate your sharing your wonderful talents with us! Thank you!

34

I love making small boxes, so that’s what I’d like to see. Something to fit a little treat into, to use for kids’ Valentine swaps…

Thanks for sharing your excellent ideas. Your projects are always special.

35

My favorite Valentines projects have to do with chocolate. So anything that helps me offer chocolate in a nice packaging idea would be awesome… or treat boxes, bags, etc.
Thanks for sharing all your wonder projects.
CeeCee

36

Well, to be perfectly honest, I love any type of special packaging that you some up with – your boxes and bags and purses are the best!
It would be great to get a big heart template, or something – but whatever you do is always great!

Thanks,
Robin

37

I love to make cards that are cute and not mushy sissy frilly. I also like projects that hold treats for adults and kids. You have wonderful ideas. I always like your boxes and card holders.

38

I want to see more videos. something with using punches.

39

I like to make candy treats for Valentines Day. 6 weeks after Christmas…..time flies!

40

First of all, love all of these!!! I can’t wait to start using the mini cat sets. I can’t believe we are doing Valentine’s already! I haven’t even got my Christmas stuff done! My hubby fell on the stairs last night and has a compound fracture of his foot, so now Christmas juts got a little more crazy =)

Okay, as far as what I like to do for Valentine’s Day is finding a cute way to dress up suckers for the kids. I love using our punches to make toppers for those and other little candy bags for my friends. Maybe you might have some new ideas with some of the new stuff? That would be awesome. Have a great week!

41

42

These are beautiful, Andrea. Thanks for the opportunity to win! Merry Christmas!

43

I LOVE 3D projects and holders for my kids to take to school with them for all their little cards. I remember making little things like that when I was their ages in school and that was so much fun! It was always fun to open them up to find out what was inside. I would love to see you design a little mailbox or something for the kids, I think that would be great and your stuff always comes out so wonderful! thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us :)

44

I love making 3D gifts for my son’s classroom party! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, isn’t it?!!!

In the meantime, Happy Holidays to both of you and your families!

45

Awesome as usual! I’d like to see Valentine’s ideas for teenagers, especially boys. Nothing too childish, but not lovey-dovey either. It’s a hard group for all occasions!

46

I am new to card making so I would love win this and to see cards and gift ideas for coworkers, teachers and grandparents.

47

Hi Andrea, for Valentine’s I love to see different ways of packaging little goodies! I love all of your new Valentine’s projects. I don’t know how you do all of this stuff. My kids are grown and on their own and I would never be able to keep up with you!

48

50

Andrea, I love the Love Sparkles album. I made it last weekend. It is going to be a fun class. I would love to get the card class using the same scrappin’ kit.
Thanks for all your ideas.

51

my favorite projects always include cards & bags… love your newest classes!! R ;)

52

What great ideas. I love Valentine’s Day and love making little valentine cards reminiscent of the kinds we gave at school. With a little one finally in school I am very excited to make some this year for him to give. Actually, a few years ago I started handing out the little kid valentines to my co-workers at Valentine’s Day. We now have this tradition at work!

53

So adorable! I love these. What I would love to see is several easily made and inexpensive gifts that can be made quickly for coworkers and kids’ friends. I am always looking for cute little gifts for giving. And of course your blog is one I come to for inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win!

54

These projects are great. Thanks for sharing. I like to make little notecards at valentines day.

55

Love it. You do such beatiful work. Would love to win this class. Susan

56

The only valentine projects I do are cards. It is easy to make cards for my husband’s sisters, but I have a hard time making them for my brothers. I don’t want to use dark browns, greens etc, but pink is a bit much. Also I like to use hearts, but don’t want them too lovey dovey. It is my brothers after all.

57

I’m a cardmaker, so that’s what I love to make for Valentine’s projects. They aren’t just for your ‘significant other’; they’re for everyone! Love your blog and am inspired every day with your creations!

58

I like to make valentine treats like cupcakes or chocolate pretzels for Valentines. I know it is not paper related but food speaks love to me!
: ) I also love the little kid valentine projects. Valentines are my favorite color schemes, red, pink, purple ack! I LOVE it!Thanks for sharing soooo many cool ideas. I really hope I win this one! I love your workshops!

59

My favorite thing to make for Valentine’s has to include chocolate!!

60

“What are your favourite kinds of Valentine’s projects to make?”

I love making valentines with my kids for their friends! I try to keep it simple so the kids can help.

Something I always find challenging is making a valentines card for my hubby. I’m always worried it will be too girlie!

61

Hi Andrea! These are awesome kits…thanks for the chance to win one!

For Valetines, I like to make little projects that will hold a special piece of chocolate or an altered container filled with candy…just special little gifts to make someone’s day!

62

Thanks for the opportunity to win:)

I would like to see simple projects that can be duplicated for a club or class – even if I don’t have the exact same stamp set you might be using. I also would like to see card ideas for the men in our lives.

Thanks for sharing your talent:)

Merry Christmas!!

63

I love going all out to make that one special valentine for my one special Valentine. And of course, helping my sons make little cards for their friends.

64

Thanks, Andrea for more great projects for Valentine’s Day.

65

I love all of your projects! I would just love to see more card ideas. I would also like to see more using the new products from the upcoming mini & SAB catalogs. Thanks, JIL

66

I’ve never been a big Valentine’s project person, but I love your cards and your idea of sending a note each day. Definitely going to try it out!

67

I just love the Valentine’s Day Projects!! I have done coupon booklets in the past and would love to see what you would come up with. I know it will be far above what mine was. I would like to see what ideas you have for the men (older). I do love the mini albums. Thanks for sharing.

68

I like to see a project that you can send with the kids for their valentine party. Something that you can put a treat in! As far as making something I like to make cards haven’t really made any other projects.

69

Merry Christmas! Great projects. I would like to see something that uses the new Sweet Pea stitched felt and other accessories like that. I love them but I get stumped as to what to do with them. I also like shaped cards.

70

LOVE Them all!!! ;) I would love to see things that are easy to duplicate for Valentine’s Day (or any holiday) for my son’s class, and things that would be cute for Kindergarten could look different for 5th graders, so a “grown-up” option would be cute too!

71

Great projects! I like to see 3-D projects for Valentine’s Day. They are always fun because you can put different things inside them; cady for kids, lotion for friends and love notes for you significant other. I would really like to see some 3-D project geared toward kids. The kids love getting candy and I would like to add a little extra fun touch this year. Thanks for sharing all your creativity with us.

72

Thanks you for sharing your beautiful project. My daughter and I love to make valentine’s for her class. We try to use as many punches as we possibly can. This makes for a quick and easy fun evening. At the end of the evening we sit back and admire our work and then she can`t wait to deliver her `gifts“.

73

I would like to see some Stamping on Candle ideas. I have just started to try my hand using that technique. So a card and stamped candle would be fabulous.

Keep up the great work. I just love what you do.

74

Love your cards! I really enjoy checking out what you’ve designed to share! I like to make Valentines that are cute and will bring a smile to the recipient as well as some little 3D item to hold candy to give.

75

You always have the BEST ideas! I would love to see some Valetine 3D projects I can make with my boys for their class parties. (Not tradional pinks and reds – but still look Valentine.) I love, love, love your blog. Thanks for sharing your talents.

76

I always love your projects. Your 12 weeks of Christmas projects have been out of this world! I’ve already made 5 of them! I would agree with Tina that I would like to see 3D Valentine projects that can be easily made for parties, preschoolers, etc. I just love the way that all of your projects are so elegant, yet not so hard that they are impossible to create! Thank you for your hard work! I love to make my own versions of your items and give you all the credit!

77

Love the projects you’ve come up with! I must say that I’m impressed you’ve already begun to think about Valentine’s Day projects…I haven’t gotten there yet. I love to make anything 3-D or things for my kids for Valentine’s Day. Thanks for inspiring all of us!!

Merry Christmas!
noahdlanding1@cox.net

78

I LOVE (no pun intended!) the “lollipop look” for valentine treats for my daughters school friends. They are so cute, and so popular! Would love to see your ideas on that look.
Rosslyn

79

I love these classes! What I love to make are small things like for
kids to take to school or to hand out in Bible study. I make some cards, but look mostly for the small things.

80

I check your blog daily. I just LOVE your projects. They are so creative. I shared your site with my friend who is a demonstrator, and we have tried some of your ideas in our stamp club.

I personally would love to see some nice, yet easy, and slightly masculine, ideas for Valentines’ my sons can give to their friends and family members.

81

I love making treat boxes with wrapped candies. I love seeing the faces of folks at the Sr. Center, or the nursing homes when they receive them! It’s always something a little different, and it’s fun to brighten their otherwise lonely days!

82

Hi

I love your valentine’s projects. As usual you did an awesome job.

I would love to see something for teens or maybe a home decor project.

Sharon in Michigan

83

Valentine’s Day is my Christmas! I haven’t sent Christmas cards out in years, but have done Valentine’s Day cards instead. My family and friends even send me thank you notes for the Valentine’s cards. Plus it’s nice for them to get mail in wintery February and it stands out more because so few people do it. I also make handmade Valentine’s cards for kids, which right now will be a class of 3rd graders. Some 3-D valentine craft ideas would be great, because I am the Valentine party coordinator too.

84

Cards are a definite. I make cards for people at church to send to shut ins. Also candy containers and decorations would be great.

85

Hi Andrea,
I can’t say this enough…..You have such wonderful ideas! Thanks for sharing with allof us, and for giving us the opportunity to win some class planners!
Anyhow, I love to make Valentine’s Day projects that include candy. Yum! Sweets for my sweetheart, and for all those that I love! Sometimes I also like to attempt making Valentine’s Day projects which actully have very little or no pink or red in them. I enjoy the challenge this presents.

Susie

86

Andrea I just love this stamp class and would love to win it!!! I would love to see more classes with different shape boxes. I have all of sudden have a fetish for boxes…LOL

Thanks again for all you do!

87

I am a box and container maker. Simple things packaged in fun ways are a big hit. I always love your packaging ideas!!

88

I love your card sets … would especially like to see more 3×3 card sets.
You and Sophia are amazing designers.

89

What a beautiful art works…just love it. Thank you for the inspiration. I haven’t even finished my Christmas cards, but I’m ready for Valentine cards now.

90

My favourite project are 3D items like boxes and mini photo albums….I just love giving them as gifts.
I have a big stash of pretty papers and i love when I can make something with them other that cards….
Thanks for sharing your great ideas
Radha

91

Those cards are adorable! I love making Valentine cards.

92

Girls,

I have been thinking about Valentine’s Day ever since the occasions mini and SAB came out. I have my sets from the preorder and have began working on my ideas for my valentine’s class. What added inspiration I have received from glancing at your projects. I would like to see some scrapbook layouts and 3-d items. Thanks for the chance to win.
Brittany

93

Well the only thing I made for Valentines was for my husband. But now that my grandkids are here I am looking forward to making some of the items I hope to win. Thanks Andrea

94

SO EXCITING! I’m really excited about this giveaway.

I’d like to answer both of your questions:

Valentine’s favourites to make: I like things with texture and layers. This is why: I fondly remember making things in school with ribbons, pinks, reds, white contrats, silky ribbon, touches of gold or silver, and the white paper doilies. Maybe some cut and pasted angels…really going to the extra effort to pour love and attention into that special valentine….which of course i always gave to my mom :) So I still like texture, layers, the pinks, reds and whites…and let’s not spare the glitter either!

Something i’d like to see on the blog: Things we can do with the kids. Some 3D giftables…and of course…product from the new Occasions mini and the Saleabration.

Thank you for everything you ladies do!

Dreena

95

Andrea & Sophia, very cool!! Now I am pumped for Valentine’s!!

I guess the Valentine’s I like creating would probably have to do with children (gifts that kids could either make or find fun to receive) since I usually cater to them mostly…although I should probably cater to my hubby since he had a major part in helping create them. *LOL*

96

Would love to see a class to offer to kids (and parents), so they can make the Valentines for their classmates. Also, any 3-D project that contains chocolate is always welcome. Examples with the new {heart} Hearts stamp would also be welcome. Thanks so much for all of your inspiration.

97

OMG! Both of these are so cute! What would I like to see? Everything you make it just a delight to see and try!! I don’t know how you do it….but thank you and mele kalikimaka to you and your family!

98

Oh no, I still haven’t made my Christmas cards!!!! This post has inspired me to get busy on them so that I can start thinking about Valentine’s Day. As always this is a beautiful set.

99

“Love Sparkles” and “Happy Hearts” are both too cute. I mostly like to do cards for Valentine’s Day. Some more elaborate than others. Buttons and lace. Easy bigger projects that look like I spent a lot of time (don’t know what they would be exactly). You are right, Valentine’s will be here before we know it. Thanks for all of you girls GREAT ideas. The punch stuff is so fun and clever and each one, even if they are the same, is a little different. I love my cross eyed penguin. It was a happy accident.

100

Oh, my gosh…those are wonderful! Thanks for continuing wonderful ideas!

101

I have never really made any Valentine;s projects and I think now is the time. Thanks for a chance to win the class by e-mail.

102

I would love to see some simple cards that can be offered as a class for kids and moms. Your Love Sparkles class could be used for older kids.

103

Ok, I am cheesy, but my fave valentine project is getting the cheap valentines at the dollar store and giving them to my friends, the cornier the better!

104

Hi Andera, My favorite thing at Valentine’s Day was the day my husband arranged a Barbor Shop Quartet to come to my place of work and sing to me on his behalf. They brought with them a red rose and sang three or four songs. The gals I worked with at the time really enjoyed it too.

thank you for giving so much pleasure to so many people. I love what you and Sophie do, the viedos are really well done. I have learned so much from them.

Merry Chrstmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Oh and by the way…..PICK ME, PICK ME.

105

LOVE these projects! How cute! I would love to see some treat holder ideas for V-Day :)

106

I would love to get some ideas for guick and easy valentine presents..I have so many friends to thanks for beeing my friend that i have to get something easy and simple to do for them..

And thanks for the opportunity to win this give away

107

Great projects! I like cute little projects that you can give to friends and family.

108

I would just love to win the “Happy Heart Stamp Class”. Thanks so much for the opportunity. My favorite things to make besides cards are “Top Note Package Toppers” and then I put either M&M’s or Hersey Kisses in the bags. I think this makes for a nice little Valentine treat for a Class Exchange or just to give to co-workers or friends. Thanks for always sharing your brilliant ideas with us. There is just no end to the creativity of you two. Have a wonderful day!

Trish in Wisconsin

109

I would love more 3D valentine items which are easy to make and giveaway ‘freely” at school without feeling bad when the other kids just rip into them. I guess they’ll do that with everything else you give them because they want the candies. I love the idea of the stamp class and am contemplating buying some of the planners. You guys rock!! Love, love, love everything you do and everything you show on your video. I appreciate it.

110

Thanks for the opportunity for blog candy! Woo hoo! I *love* the look of these projects.

My favorite Valentines are the little 3×3″ cards – I guess I never got away from the whole “share cards in grade school” thing! I like little sweet sparkly cards for this holiday.

111

fab sets Andrea,

I’ve chosed pink passion and choc chip for my Valentines projects and will definately be making some decorated chocolates and small boxes.

My favourites to make or would like to see are chocolate related goodies for my fella. He’s not into pink and sparkly but he does love chocolate!

Thanks for the chance to win your inspiring candy

Our family always has a big sit down dinner for Valentines Day (since it is our wedding Anniversary) and I always glam up the dinner table by making personalized place card settings, centerpieces and other paper crafted items! These are definitely a favourite of mine to make and i am always looking for new ideas to make each year!

113

I love to make little favor-like goodies for my co-workers, so more ideas/projects for showcasing treats are always winners!! Thanks for the chance to win!

114

Hello Andrea,
I am so exctited that you are already thinking “Valentines” I love to preplan things out (doesn’t mean I actually get them done, LOL) but your ideas are wonderful. I’m crossing my fingers that I win.

Answers to your questions…
What are your favourite kinds of Valentine’s projects to make?
I love making little treat bags for the kids to bring to their teachers, or to leave in the mailbox for the mailperson.
“What kinds of Valentine’s project ideas would you like to see on our blog”
As far as what I would like to see, I LOVE all of your ideas but if I had to pick one thing it would be a masquline card for Valentines. The guys are not all into pink and brown yummy hearts but they might be interested in something a little more “manly”. Any ideas?

Thanks Again for all of your great ideas.

Hi Ladies, Happy Holidays to you and your families from me and mine!
I would like to see a project that I can give to my honey for Valentines. A masculine card and goody box/bag for my husband. He loves chocolate!!!! Thanks Patrice

116

Hi Andrea and Sophia!
I am not a fan of this stamp set. However, I do like the projects you’ve made for this stamp set and I would certainly use the projects using a different stamp set.

I personally would like to see more punch items for this blog along with some kinds of boxes that have dividers. the box with dividers would make a great Valentines Gift. One could have cookies, one side could have chocolates etc….. I would also like to see more projects using the Bis Shot and dies.
Thank You for all of the hard work you two put into making this blog the Greatest! also, thanks for giving us all a chance to win.

117

Hi Andrea,
I enjoy making 3D projects, especially those that hold candy!

118

I love the Valentine cards! You did a great job! Keep up the good work. Ciao, Jerri Ann

119

Stunning!!! as always.. I am even more excited by the fact that we actually have everything for these classes in Australia..woohooo

I love 3d boxes that you can fill with chocolates or something, but you can never go past a good old fashioned card..

120

Hi Andrea,

Another beautiful project! I’d love to see some masculine Valentine card ideas, treat boxes etc.

But I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever you guys come up with :)

Cheers, Deanne

121

Hi Andrea,
I really love these projects, they are just gorgeous! And for a change we have most of the supplies in NZ, except I think for the Rose Red DSP you’ve used. Great!

In New Zealand we don’t tend to give out lots of Valentines cards and gifts – it tends to be just one, to a “significant other”. So I’d love to see a combination of a really wow card and some kind of gift, that would appeal to men. I think us girls love the pink and chocolate colour combination, but I’m not convinced my husband does!

Thanks for the inspiration, and the chance to win your fabulous planners!

122

Love your ideas. For Valentine’s Day I would love to see some quick and easy cards to take to their classmates, something cute but not awfully expensive. Thanks for the reminder that V-day is only 6 weeks away.

123

I love the card holder especially in this set. I love to make simply yet elegant cards with just a touch of sparkle. You site is a great place for inspiration.

124

Wonderful! I love the way you make those SSK’s work!

125

I love making things for the kids teachers and classmates. Any ideas for this would be helpful on your blog. Love what you do.

126

My fav is just to emboss a small paper bag and add a few candies. Love your blog and thanks for the chance to win.

127

Ideas for things to make with kids are always good. My son loves to make his own Valentine’s each year.

Any projects that I could do with my customers are always good, too.

128

I love your projects, they are always original. I love seeing treat holder for valentines. My hubby has a sweet tooth and cards just get set aside and forgot about with him.
Thanks

129

I would love to see projects with goodies attached. I love to give away treats on Valentine’s Day so giving a hand stamped something along with it would be great! Thanks for the giveaway!

130

LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. WOW!!! These are BEAUTIFUL!!! I have the class planner and I must say…I’m EXCITED!

Hmmm…I’d love to see some kids stuff to give to friends…ALWAYS looking for ideas!

131

I would like to see masculine Valentines. Stuff away from the traditional pink and girly. Love with an edge.

132

I love all the samples! I enjoy making Valentine cards and would love to see more masculine orientated cards and ideas!

133

Wouldn’t it be fun to make some 3×3 cards and attach them to a small treat holder.. easy enough to make as VD gifts for your kids to give in school yet nice enough to give to spouses,GF’s,family etc .. just depends how you decorate it and what you put inside!

134

So cute as always. I’d love to see different treat holders for kids or mommy and me projects.

135

Very cute! I’d like to see some unusual containers for small gifts.
Thanks for sharing :)

136

Super cute! I would love to offer this to my customers. As for ideas, you could do a comprehensive tutorial on making cards with the treat cups in a way that doesn’t make the receiver rip the card apart to get to the candy!

137

I love the colors…valentines day boy I am just finishing up teachers gifts…types of projects I like are one that you can do in 30 minutes….I love making things for my two daughters classes so that works out to about 70 treat boxes or enevolopes.Ah yes as you have read I do like boxes and enevolopes…thanks for all the sharing that you do it is a big help when I have a block..take care and Merry Christmas from my home to yours.

138

I would love to see simple and easy to mass produce Valentines projects for boys. I need to make about 60 items for their classes and they do not want anything too “girly” .

139

i just run into your blog. Great ideas! I would love to see small gifts for our loved ones! TFS!

140

I love your projects! As far as projects, I would love to see Valentine treat favor ideas for kids’ classrooms as well as kids’ Valentine’s craft projects.

Happy Holidays!

144

I definitely have to echo the sentiments of the other moms – simple/fast ideas for kids class valentines. These projects are great! Thanks for the chance to win.

145

I just love this month’s class planner. It is adorable! I would like to see some masculine valentine’s cards. As much as I love the pink cards, I wouldn’t mind a different color scheme for guys.

146

My favorite Valentine projects ,include a small treat holder of some kind for my friends and something really cute for my grandchildren with a card and treatholder. I sure do hope I win! LOL!

147

I like to make my own packaging. I think it very personal and beautiful when you make your own. I would like to see more of this on your blog.

148

I love making my own little love notes for my family to receive in the days leading up to valentine’s. They think it is so much fun to find a little note and treat in an unexpected place! I also love making valentines with my kids to give out to their friends and classmates. These always need to be very simple to mass-produce, but still “neat”. It is always tricky, because I have 4 sons, and they do not want any lovey-dovey valentines to give out… no hearts, NO PINK!! Think you could help me out with a new idea for this year?!

149

For Valentine’s Day I like to make packaging for candy, Target mailboxes, chipboard albums, etc. and would love to see some new ideas of what to make.

150

I like to make Heart-shaped peppermints; take two small candycanes, put them on parchment paper so the ends are touching to look like a heart. Pout melted white chocolate bark or chips in the center. Top with crushed candy canes. Cool and peel off the paper.

151

I just order the Happy Heart Planner. This is going to be a fun class for next month. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and talents. As a new demonstrator I really appreciate being able to use these new ideas for my classes.
Cynthia

152

These projects are adorable. I like any projects that incorporate a candy holder of some kind for Valentine’s Day. I really like the package of little cards you designed, those are great, and I can see myself giving them to my husband.

153

I enjoy making projects with candy for V-day. I think last year we did a bag topper and the year before it was a matchbox. I’ve been trying to think of V-day items, but I haven’t even had the energy to finish my Christmas stuff this year. We just put up the tree last night! Hope I win your projects look great! PS the Heart-shaped pepermints in the post above me sounds great. Maybe I’ll do that with a cute bag topper this year.

154

Hi Andrea,
I love your projects! Beautiful as always! I would like to see more 3D project for Valentines Day. I bought a mini mailbox last year in the dollar section and haven’t used it yet. Any ideas for that would be great.
Thanks for your inspiration!
Sheryl

155

I Love the gable box and the colors. Valentines is my favorite to stamp for. I enjoy project that incorporate candy bars or lollipops or something like that for the kids to give away at school.

156

157

158

Hi Andrea, and here you are again with stunning creations, wow, i’m amaze those two kit are beautiful.

for Valentine’s day I would love to see little creations that can be mass produce quickly, for co-workers, kids, teachers and maybe some quick album or page layout for grandparents and godfathers. Cute little things that breathe “I love you” as you always do…

genevieve

159

I love to make little treat bags with bag toppers for my grandson’s second grade class. Small gifts like that would interest me, although I love all your projects. Joyce

160

I would love to see Valentine projects that are geared toward making favors for the classroom or children’s friends.

161

For Valentine’s Day, I would love to see projects on how to decorate boxes or bags to give gifts in! P.S. Valentine’s Day is my birthday! SM

162

I love making valentines for my son’s classmates. Last year, they were 3. I kept it simple – orange paper, white paper, and orange ink with the fish from SU Toucan of My Love. They were quick and reminded me of stamping basics and why I love it so much – sometimes we get so caught up in the embellishments and techniques (don’t get me wrong, I love all that too).

I’d like to see good valentine’s gifts for a husband. I’d like to see paper crafts wrap up some XBox or Wii accessories. Let’s see it, Andrea!

163

Sooo pretty. Thanks for the jumpstart to begin thinking about Valentine’s Day. Not too far off.
Yvonne

164

I love to do a whole bunch of cute little projects to give away to loved ones for days leading up to V-day. I believe love should have a whole season, not just a day! :-)

165

I love doing small treat holders for Valentines…especially compact items that I can send to our grandkids far away. Love your new class projects.

166

I would also like to see some projects for small gift/class favor items. Although I would only be able to use them for my daughter’s preschool class–the elementary school doesn’t let the kids bring ANY type of treats anymore :(

Whatever you make, I’m sure it will be great!

167

My favorite projects for Valentine’s are chocolate bar covers for everyone. I love the pizza box & candy wraps that you did here.

168

How cute! I just love Valentine’s Day! Last year, I made all these little conversation hearts out of cardstock and left them for my husband all over the house for him to find.

169

I love these, especially the box! SO cute!!
I too would like to see ideas for kids to make as a class or to make a bunch at home for friends. :)
Thanks for all of your awesome ideas!

170

I love all your projects, as a new Demonstrator, your website is an inspiration and a fantastic resource, thank you for sharing your ideas! I would love to see a few more ideas to give to children, I have a February half term project in mind and would love something more kiddie orientated.

171

I saw someone else mentioned a coupon book. I would love to see your take on that – maybe one for kids. Thanks for the awesome give-away!

172

I love making things for my kids, candy holders….but I really need ideas for stamping BEGINNERS! My group is very new to card making and need easy ideas.
Erin M

173

I saw this on your demo to demo website and think it is super cute!!! For Valentines Day I like to take either flowers or cupcakes…something cute and form them into a heart shape. Then I take a picture ans use it on the front of my card. I add some rub-ons and maybe a brad and some ribbon. I think it makes the card more personal.

174

I always love cards. I also want more ideas for kids to give away to their friends.

175

Love, love, love all your projects! I like Valentine cards, but I really like 3-D projects. My customers like classes that allow them to make several different items. Thanks for all your great ideas!

176

Andrea, I love everything you do but I am always interested in treat cards or holders and also different card folds.

177

I’d like to see treat holders for Valentine’s Day.

178

I am in awe of everything the two of you do, but I would love to see something with the Sweet Treat Cups, the Heart Shaped Sweat Treat Cups, or any other Treats that you can think of to give to kids, and friends. I would also love to see some Valentines Day Cards using the New Stamp Sets, and if you are wondering…I am in love with all of the New Stamp Sets. You guys Rock, now let’s see what you come up with, I just know it will be fantastic!

179

Very, very pretty ideas! My favorite things to make for Valentine’s Day are anything with candy. I just love making up little decorated treats.

183

I would love to see things with bling. I’m all about embellishments and layers. Love your ideas and pink with choc chip is one of my favorite color combinations!

184

All 3 of those are absolutely incredible! Love the fun color combo and cute designs! Love your ideas!!

185

Hi…love it..would love to see ideas that are easy enough for my kids to make themselves to hand out at Valentines day. amy

186

Your class/kit ideas are wonderful! thanks for putting your time into them.
Valentine ideas that are quick and sweet, like cello treat bags with toppers. Also something for the men-husbands, fathers, sons, who aren’t into mushy/cute stuff!

187

Definitely treats for the kids classes. That’s what I like making and what I would love to see on your blog. I absolutely LOVE all your stuff, sooooo beautiful!

188

Andrea, all of your projects are so great! I would love to see more 3-D projects, maybe a special valentine item for grandparents (they need to know they are loved too!)

192

I like to make little mini-picture books with my kids’ pictures in them for grandparents (using coasters as the covers). They love them! It’s a cute gift and not too difficult. I’d love to see what else you come up with!

193

Very cool indeed!

194

The top things that I craft for Valentines is…
1. Cards for Coworkers. (Do you have any ideals for male coworkers)
2. Candy covers.
3. Cookie covers.
4. Not sure.

195

My favorite thing to make for Valentine’s Day is cards, but I love to look at all the nifty things you share, Andrea! And I know you’ll be showing us projects using the newest Stampin’ Up! toys, all of which I simply adore!

196

Love this! I like Valentine projects that include a “treat” for the person getting the card…whether it’s cand or something else. =-) I look forward to all of your great ideas–thanks for sharing!

197

Hello ladies,
Beatiful artworks as always!. My fave valentine projects are valentine cards and valentine kids projects (valentine baskets). I’m looking for an idea for handmade valentine gift for my husband/spouse. Something romantic, creative, and specially handmade.
Thanks…Have a Merry Christmas!

198

Love your new planners!! I would like to see Valentine’s Day cards suitable for giving to those special men in our lives – hubby, son, Dad, etc. Thanks for asking and thanks for the opportunity to win an awesome prize!

199

I would love to see samples of the stamp set used for the class planner. I like to give people more ideas to use with one stamp set. They are more apt to purchase it then.

Thank you!

Yvonne

200

I love cards and card holders and of course treat type boxes…..thanks the chance to win.
Diane

201

Andrea, Thanks for such a great creative mind and all your projects. Maybe if you have ideas on candy presentations would be helpful.

202

I love to see 3-D items and my nieces and nephews love to get them. I love to make boxes or things that hold stuff. When I give something to the nieces and nephews they don’t care what is in them just that it can hold their stuff.

Carey
aka Roscoe’s mommy

203

My favorite Valentine project always has chocolate somehow incorporated! :0)

204

I would like some projects to do with children Thank You. Debbie

205

Yet again – beautiful projects on your blog! I like to make Valentine’s projects trying to use different color combinations – not all just pinks, reds, etc.

206

Another winner Andrea! I couldn’t wait to see if I win, I bought the demo planner right away! You can still pick me if you want to though!
;-) Thanks for everything you and Sophia do!

207

I like any project that I can make a ton of and is easy to make. As for Christmas, Valentines and other holidays, I usually need to make multiples of the project.

208

I would like a Valentine project that incorporates a surprise pop-up box. Keep up the great work! Can we purchase instructions for past projects that are no longer being sold on your website?

209

I love any project is a way to give a little treat with a card for Valentine’s Day.

210

My favourite thing to make for valentines…something I am always on the lookout for…is ways to decorate candy/treats/chocolate to give out. Thanks for all your inspiration!

211

My favorite Valentine projects to make are those for children. I have 3 young children who take Valentine’s to preschool/school and I also teach preschool, so I make all my Valentine’s, Christmas gifts, etc.

Thanks for the awesome ideas!

212

My favorite projects are ones that I can pop some chocolate in, so little boxes, cards with pockets. I have found just one square of chocolate in a handmade presentation really makes people smile.

213

Hi Andrea! I think you have outdone yourself, though I LOVE everything you do! The colors are great and these kits are wonderful…I want to get started right away on some projects with all the ideas you kindly share with us.
I love making cards for Valentine’s Day, but I like something I can create to package a small amout of candy or some other little treat like a small tin or a bag fashioned as a purse or another type of container. I also like making things that are quite simple, but eye catching with my granddaughter!
Thank you for all the great ideas!!

214

Love to make small treats and treat boxes. Thanks for a chance to win this beautiful set.

215

Hi. I make Valentine cards. Sometimes small love note size messages to leave “special” places. I might do some bags of candy this year, but for certain, I’ll do cards.
Chris in Colorado.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed 2010.

216

Hi Ladies!

This is the most fantastic blog! I stop by every day to see your lovely creations! Valentines stuff I love: ‘coupons’ for husband/boyfriend, kids valentines, and HEARTS HEARTS HEARTS! Thanks for the great opportunity to win! Have a fantastic holiday!

Allison in Alberta

217

Andrea,
You always come up with such unique and creative projects. I love to make valentine cards and give to the receipent with homemade heart cookies. Thanks for a chance to win one of these sets.

218

Love making treat bags– I mass produce and thus tend to do toppers on a clear bag. Valentine’s is one of my top crafting holidays!

219

For Valentine’s day, I usually just make special cards for the kids and hubby. Last year I used Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black for some fun cards. This year, I am going try to stretch myself using some non-traditional Valentine’s colours. I still have part of a DS paper that has all these cool little boxes with sayings on them, I will have to find a way to incorporate them again this year.

For your blog, I’d love to see some grown up Valentine’s Day card.. the whimsical is cute, but I’d like to see something more romantic, and for my husband… that might be a good challenge!

220

I have boys (and a husband!) so masculine school treat ideas for the little ones and something not too mushy for my husband would be fabulous- a card and some kind of candy/chocolate holder. I love your ideas and look forward to the New Year reading your blog!

221

My favorite Valentine’s are little candy boxes or treasure boxes for friends. I would like to see some more ideas for cards for kids (5-10) as I live in a small town with a lot of kids and love to hand out cards and treats on the different Holidays. Thanks for having such a great website.

222

I would love to see a different way to do a large quantity of treats that isn’t the standard clear bag with folded paper top. Anything that would work for giving to both boys and girls would be great!

223

Andrea,

My upline and I were talking card stamping while I was driving cross country to a medical need in my family. We have to make time to be Mom and move away from the crafting table at times. Our theme was gearing up for the big V-day! Imagine My delight at finding your site upon arriving here in Illinois this week! Gorgeous V-day cards. The brown and pink are just wonderful. I’d like to see them with green and pink as well. A girlfriend has a green and pink shabby chic office….thought it would make a good color pallet as well? Something to ponder on the way back to Virginia on Sunday…..

224

THese are so cute – and so neat to see something else but Christmas cards. I still have so much to do before leaving for our holiday that it’s beginning to be too stressful. The Pink is very calming!! LOL :)

225

My favorite valentine project: helping my kids make valentines for their friends at school. I love to get them involved as much as possible with stamping and this is a perfect way!

226

I love projects for the kids. Something simple that I can make lots of!!

227

I am amazed how you always come up with the coolest things. I hope to see more scrapbook pages, albums or ideas that I could use with my coworkers. You rock

Valerie

228

I love to make cards with my childrens class at school. I also love to make lots of V-Day cards for family and friends. thanks for the chance to win!

229

I love to make Valentine cards with lots of red and white and sometimes some pinks. I send Valentine cards to all my family-children, parents, siblings, and give one to my DH.

230

My fave Valentine’s projects would include sweets of some kind, that’s for sure!

231

Andrea these are all beautiful!! Would love to win. My favorite thing to make/teach in my classes would have to be 3D projects that hold valentine candy. My customers always want something that will hold candy to give to there friends, family, etc. Thank you for your classes.

232

CUTE, Cute, Cute!! I like things that would hold candy. That’s what it’s all about.

Sherry Conrad

233

I love pink and chocolate brown…great choice. As for the types of things I like to see for valentines day. Definately 3D items and smaller cards like a 3 x 3 or a postcard type. This is what I need to think of for school so that kids have something easy to make and give to all their classmates.

234

love the new “season” we will be moving into after Christmas. Anything chocolate…and cute ways to present are on my list…thanks for sharing…lovely ideas…

235

Treat holders are my favorite for Valentine’s Day. Think sweets for the sweet! … Patricia

236

Lets see….I always like making goodie boxes or bags for Valentines and would love to see you make something along those line. Thanks for sharing with us – you are wonderful ! Pamela

237

Great planner. Love the colours! I would love you to do some small cards and boxes to hold a small gift or sweets for friends. It’s a good day to let friends know you care and are thinking of them.

238

I love these designs! I would like to see a simple but nice project to mass-produce for my children’s classmates. I would also like to see more projects with the 3-heart punch that I bought from SU last year. Thank you!

239

Treat holders for classmates or coworkers, something easy to mass produce. Enjoy the holiday season!

Eileen

243

My favorite things to do are boxes with little treats… i love making treats for my co-workers or the new treat cups would also be a pretty cool project.
Thanks!
Holly

244

I love to make cards, of course. And I have wanted to make the cute little mailbox project, but haven’t yet. Also like to use those little conversation heart candies inside cute 3D items.

245

I would love to see a variety of non-traditional colors used for valentines as I have a couple of boys and pinks are not necessarily the choice color. I also, like how you take an unepectectant stamp set and create a card with it for a theme not necessarily first choice. You are so talented at thinking outside the box and I am so grateful for all of the hard work that you put into your creativity! (But I have a feeling it is not hard for you otherwise you wouldn’t keep doing it) I also like that you don’t worry about people being judgemental of your work-that is one of my flaws, I am always too concerned of what others will think of my card that I tend to procrastinate and not necessarily enjoy or let the creative juices run freely! Keep up the great work and enjoy the holiday season with your family!
Tanya

246

I like to make things to put gifts in, or candy and cards/boxes. If someone has some other ideas I would love hearing all about it.
Thanks for everything, you do a fabulous job.

247

“What are your favourite kinds of Valentine’s projects to make? or “What kinds of Valentine’s project ideas would you like to see on our blog”

I love everything about your blog and Demonstrator site! I made Vday cards with sweethearts inside last year. I would love to see some ideas for childrens valentines exchanges that perhaps they could join in on making … that means simple but cute! One of things becoming a Demonstrator has allowed me to do is to share my love of crafting with my children (though it has taken me a bit to relax about all of the staining on my wood!). Talk about a self-esteem booster for kids … to help make valentines to give to friends and family!

Thanks for all you do! You are an Inspiration!

248

I would love to see something quick, small, and cute to give to coworkers as a little treat. Thanks for all the sharing. I love your work!

249

I would love to see valentine ideas for my daughter’s classmates and maybe a teach gift idea too. But nonetheless, all the projects that you show are wonderful!

Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome class project. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Wishing you a safe and healthy New Year too!

250

I like to create cute cards…. lovey dovey ones or a funny one for my hubby, and cute kiddie cards for my niece and nephew! The kiddie valentines are so adorable & fun to make. I also would like to make fun valentines day treat holder boxes! Happy Holidays to you & thanks for the giveaway! Love your card projects!

251

253

I love the candy treats that can be packaged so sweetly as my Valentine projects. I got the Happy Heart planner just the other day and I’m so excited about doing this class! Thanks for your inspiration!

Super cute cards. I think my favorite project for Valentines Day was making things that my grandson gave out to his classmates. He’s too old for that now, so I guess I need to find another class to make things for.

I’m fairly new to SU, and I would love to see some projects to do with little girls 6-9 yrs. old.
Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration, to all of us newbies.

Great Valentine projects Andrea! That occasion is just around the corner isn’t it. Best get the creative juices flowing. I am always inspired when I visit your blog. The Valentine projects I like are 3-D ones that you can cover up sweet treats with and cards full of hearts!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
