Posted: Thursday, April 29th, 2010 | Comments*Winner of the FREE class registration will be announced on Friday, May 7th.*
*ETA (May7th): this contest is now closed however you can still register for the classes*
It’s time for another online class, and let me tell you, we are very excited, because we have not ONE, but TWO different upcoming online classes to share with you today following our new class format.
First up we have an exciting class of cards only featuring pop-up action, as well as some really cool and fun folds! We have had a lot of you asking for more cards, so this exciting class is dedicated to you. Think of it as extreme card making
.
Here’s what the class includes:
- This class runs from May 17th – May 28th. We’re running the class over a 2 week time period, instead of our old 1 week class, so that you have more time to create and share your projects with your online classmates.
- In this class you’ll learn how to make 5 projects + a bonus project (the one shown in the picture). All the projects minus the bonus will include templates so that you can make them no matter what tools you own. That means that you will not have to scour your local craft store looking for alterables or die machines. The bonus project was designed to show you how to use one of the fantastic pop-up ball dies which Stampin’ Up! offers.
- The projects will be posted on the Monday, Wednesday & Friday of each week
- A Video tutorial for EACH project
- A pdf handout for EACH project
- A daily forum
- A project gallery to share your own work
- ONE fun chat session where you can chat with Soph and I and your fellow classmates
- The classroom will remain open until the end of July
The second class we’re offering is ALL scrapbooking! A number of you have expressed a desire to see a scrapbooking class but we’ve been somewhat hesitant to offer one as we weren’t sure what the overall interest level would be. We’ll be deciding whether or not to follow up with more scrapbooking classes based on the response to this one.
Here’s what the class includes:
- The class runs from June 7th – June 18th, once again we’re offering this as a two week class.
- In this class we’ll be sharing with you 5 single-page and one bonus double-page 12″ x 12″ layout. Each layout is for multiple photos.
- Each layout will be presented as a sketch and then as our take on the sketch. You can follow our pages exactly or adapt them to your own photos and to your own supplies
- A pdf handout of each layout including the sketch, a photo of our sample, dimensions, a full supply list and written directions.
- Video tutorials for some of the techniques featured in our scrapbook pages. Please note that unlike our other online classes there may not be a video per layout.
- a forum
- a gallery to share your projects with your classmates
- one fun chat session with both Soph and I and your fellow classmates.
- The classroom will stay open until the end of August
The Early Bird price per class is $22.97, however, if you sign up for BOTH classes then you pay only $19.95 PER CLASS for a total savings of $6.00. If you decide to sign up for both classes then you will need to use the coupon code: onlineclassdeal. To use the coupon, first add both classes to your shopping cart by clicking on each link and then enter the coupon code into the appropriate section of the cart and hit APPLY (if you don’t click on “apply” then the cart won’t calculate the discount).
Fun Folds and Pop-Up Cards Class Early Bird Price: $22.97
Simply Scrappin’ 101 Class Early Bird Price: $22.97
If you’ve been on the wire about taking one of our online classes, now’s the time to give it a try! Remember though, the Early Bird Price is only good until May 15th, after that price goes up to $24.97 per class.
As is our custom we are giving away 1 FREE class registration to BOTH classes. To enter in our give-away please leave us a comment in the comments section below. As part of your comment please let us know which class excites you the most and what type of future classes you’d like to see.
Stay tuned for our Trend Watch Thursday post which Soph will be posting later tonight.

Don’t Miss Out on the Early Bird Registration for the March Break Madness Online Class
Posted: Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 | CommentsWe had so much fun doing our “A Touch of Romance” Online Class, and getting to meet so many of you. Because everything went so well we have decided to make it a regular monthly feature! We are so excited about this because this allows us the opportunity to show you the truly unique, fun and more intricate projects we love to make which are too time consuming to share on the blog, and too hard to show through pdf alone. So if you are looking for a fun, community-oriented and welcoming classroom environment, then you have come to the right place! So what can you expect?
From February 15th – 19th, we will be running our March Break Madness online class! We all know that very soon March Break will be here, and our dear sweet children will be lolling around the house, bored out of their minds and looking to us to entertain them. We know what we’re going to do…..do you? How about using this opportunity to spend some one on one time, and doing some fantastic kid-oriented projects with them? This February we are offering 5 totally new, totally unique, and totally inspiring projects that you can do WITH your children, or simply for children (if you don’t have any kids of your own). What can you expect? Each class includes:
- Step-by-Step videos of each and every project (these videos are TRULY detailed and step-by-step – the typical video length of the videos for the Valentine’s online class were about 30 min. long)
- PDF handout of each project
- New forums each day to offer alternatives and different applications for each project
- One on one chat time with both of us so that we can answer any questions which you might have
- Galleries to upload and share your work with others
- Contest and chance to win your next class completely free
- Warm and friendly community atmosphere where you can meet others with similar interests.
And if this isn’t enough, we promise that the projects will totally thrill you. We have something to cover all interests. Such as the exclusive Barnyard Punch Pal Puppet Theatre which your little ones can make with you, and then play with you. This project will feature 5 farm animals and a puppet theatre, which will be exclusive to the class and not shown on the blog. But that’s only ONE of the projects you’ll be getting – there will still be four more, equally fabulous projects. Getting curious? Well then sign up, and take the opportunity to learn some new projects, and have quality time with your children. You won’t regret it, and neither will they!
Take advantage of our Early Bird Special when you sign up before Tues. Feb 9th). After that the price will go up to $25.97.
Early Bird Registration: $22.97 CAN (until Tues. Feb. 9th, 11:59 pm)

This Valentine’s Day, give your spouse the priority HE deserves!
Do you remember the days when you used to dream of meeting Mr. Right? When you fantasized about being in love, getting married and living happily every after? And how about early on in your relationship when your world revolved around making each other happy? Then the weeks, months & even years started passing and your career took off, kids came along, your household demands increased….life simply got busier. Now you look at your man and feel like “two ships passing in the night”. You can’t even remember the last time the two of you spent time alone together….
Well, if that’s you, you’re not alone! That’s why this Valentine’s Day we want to help you rekindle your romance, and deepen your relationship with your spouse.
- 5 unique projects which will be shown for 5 consecutive days. This will give you plenty of time to gather your materials & make the projects in time for Valentine’s, and not overwhelm you. Keep in mind however that you don’t HAVE to use the same supplies we do – you can simply use whatever is in your stash!
- A video tutorial for EACH project.
- a PDF handout for EACH project. The pdf will include a picture, full supply list, step-by-step written instructions, and an exclusive template where applicable. That way you’ll be able to print out the tutorial to save in your inspiration binder to refer to again and again.

With each day’s project we’ll give you a different idea for implementing your “love campaigne”, we’ll ask a related question and through the forum, we’ll have the opportunity to share ideas and learn from one another.
- A project gallery to share your own take on the projects. Part of the creative process of an online class is to take what you learn and make it your own. If you don’t have the supplies we used, simply use whatever you do have. Then upload your creation to that project’s album.
